I believe that's where my cousin and her husband go with their two kids. Always has seemed like a great church! I've personally never visited haha.

Ice/snow coming this weekend.... yay... not. LOL. Hopefully if it's bad, it's bad enough to cancel everything so I can just burrow into our warm home without the power experiencing any issues.

Roscoe

Bro. Crabtree has a beautiful church. I don't know him well but they hosted the Section 3 Christmas banquet this year.
I'm paining a bit tonight. The cold and the adjustment of having my arm in typing position all day is wearing on me and the therapy ain't helping that area either.
Not sure if we will get tons of snow- tons of ice- a combination- or nothing. I tend to believe we will get 6 to 20 inches of snow and some sleet, and will be home bound Saturday through Tuesday. We shall see. At any rate- I want summer. :pound:

At my w*rkplace they were talking it up like it will be more snow than 94. (Except I thought it was 93 when we had that big snow...)

I'll believe it when I'm driving on it. Not before.

Well our "wintry mix" just started.... so we'll see what happens over the course of the next few days.
Stay safe if you have to be out in it!!! I know it's supposed to stretch from here all the way east just about.

I have coworkers up near RI, MA etc.... and they're supposed to get 20-25 inches of snow.
Crazy!!

It's raining here and the temperature is dropping. I'm in "wait and see" mode.

Lynx

It just started snowing here. I think. At least it is snowing and there is very little accumulation, so I assume it just started.

My phone claims it will be snowing all day and into tomorrow. Bah humbug.

Well, we've had sleet and apparently are still getting snow. It's 10 degrees. No sure how much accumulation we have got because it's dark but the entire state shows to have all the highways covered severely. I'll not be leavin' the house.

We got snow, and now we are getting light rain, great for turning all that snow into a big sheet of ice.

Coming up next, many days of very low temperatures. Perfect for nailing all that ice firmly to the road for almost a week.

Well, we have the big sheet of ice already. The sleet came and now it's snowing. The neighbors were using the road to sled with an atv.

Lynx

Yesterday morning we lost power. Halfway through the day we lost water.

Still waiting to get either of them back.

Fortunately I use a phone with a 22 amp hour battery. So I'm still online and we still have propane heat. And we have tons of food and bottles of water, because we never drink the tap stuff.

So yeah, life could be worse.

Flushing the toilet could be tricky though...

Well, we got about 6 inches of sleet snow. The snow thats hard. lol I've stayed in the house cus these single digit temps are not for this summer girl.

Hubbs unfortunately has had to go to work. Retail doesn't care if you have an accident trying to go in. They need that money.
He said today was the first day so far it's been slippery. Cus the sun was out yesterday melting it, but back down to a single digit overnight = ice ice baby.

We got water and power back.

I scooped up some snow... Well, I chopped chunks of ice and put them in a bucket, then melted that in front of the heater. That flushed the toilet nicely.

And Sunday, right after it stopped raining ice on everything, some guy on our street got out and started playing with his bobcat. Machine, not animal. So our back road is the most navigable back road in the county. I might see how much it will cost to get me one of those things.

I only got to be a hermit for three days. I was a little sad. Back at work yesterday. I did utilize the Sat/Sun combo at home to finish the church year-end docs, so at least that is complete!!

Now to work on the house chaos and my work chaos.

Roscoe

Well we have remote worked since Friday. Snow and ice. didn't lose power, did have a broke water line. Fixed. Canceled church tonight because the side roads are still bad and I haven't been able to turn on the church water and check for leaks. Lord I am praying we have none,,,

And.... the week off is official. I was surprised that we didn't go back to work today and totally blown away when they extended it to tomorrow too. I'm liking the whole week off. :biglaugh:

I had a water line break in the front yard. I had a shut off but that's where it broke. The neighbor helped me shut it off at the meter.

THIS IS IT!  Febrary 2nd. It's all on the line. Our actions today will determine the fate of the next few weeks.

Let's all get out there and shoot every groundhog we see. I've about had enough of winter.
