Had my dermatology appointment yesterday. I have two scripts to have filled. They don't send them directly to the pharmacy, so I didn't get to submit them until last night after work. Hoping they really help this face stuff go away FAST like she says. I woke up to almost swollen shut eyes and my lips were also swollen. Dunno why it got so bad, but I'm thankful I don't work retail anymore and I can sit all deformed in my office. LOL. Not the end of the world thankfully. So ready to have this behind me. Can't wait until March now for my allergist appointment to see what new allergies are tryin to kill me. LOL.

I am sad that my nephew is headed back with his parents this morning to California. We all got sick after he had RSV, but thankfully he's feeling SOO much better and I know we will be soon too. I know I'm very very partial and biased, but he's just SOOOOOOO stinkin cute. I told my brother & SIL.. he's even cute when he was crying. That's hard to do. LOL. The next time I see him in person, he'll almost be one year old! Thankfully we can video chat now, and he's starting to be able to pay attention as well haha.

Please pray for my mom. She's in hospital and awake but not responding and squirms in bed. They seem to not have a clue as to why.

MsJennJenn

That sounds awful Nelle!!

Oh no Sandra. Praying keep us updated.

Happy to say hubbs and I made it out of December and the flu that so viciously attacked us alive!! We're alive!! And the coughing is finally almost gone!! lol

Praying for y'all Fuzzy.

Came to church today to do end of year stuff. Since our secretary left- God's will, not mad at all about it- Lou has been acting as secretary and since she is not a whiz on computers, I am having to print reports, contribution statements, etc. Having to tax my brain on Excel spread sheets of which I have not done in a long time... thankfully some of the memory is coming back to me.

Going to teach tonight on Commitment, may get stoned. If I survived, Friday, Lou and I are headed to Winnsboro Louisiana to a singing- it'll be one of the few getaways we get to have. Then Tuesday after therapy I have a 6-hour drive to Kentucky for a meeting- hopefully a pastor from Mississippi will meet me in Memphis and ride with me. That's yet to be determined.

 :hi:

My dad is getting married this weekend. A lot of friends and family are going to be in Kentucky for the wedding.

Bobby's getting stoned. Pass it on.

I'mma stay over here in Tennessee where that stuff is still illegal.

Nope.  I see enough leprechauns when I am around Roscoe, so no need to simulate the process artificially.

That sounds a lot like my reasons for never doing any drugs. The world is already too weird. People want to make it MORE weird?

I w*rk with some really short people though. Bobby ain't THAT short. He's taller than about a third of the people at my job.

Hi.
Didn't get stoned either in the biblical sense or the modern sense. Made trip to Louisiana, enjoyed it. May or may not go to Kentucky. My extended vacation is rapidly coming to an end.

I extremely dislike that Monday's come around SO FAST. :demand:

Ended up sick on Saturday afternoon/evening and again Sunday morning. So I basically spent the weekend in bed not feeling well. Had to miss church which required three phone calls to the lady I was supposed to be driving, someone to cover my class, and someone to cover the deposit making. Hardly ate anything. Ate baked potato for lunch today at work and I probably ate TOO much for a first meal, haha. Hoping everything stays good.. just makes you feel blech after being sick and you're aware of every single thing you feel. LOL.

I'm at the hospital with my mom. Thankfully, she's doing better. I hope she gets to go home soon.

She's supposed to be discharged to rehab today. :)

Dad had a light stroke Sunday. He was feeling back to normal Monday. But they didn't actually release him until Tuesday afternoon. He has a theory that they wanted another billable day on the insurance money.

So we have been at hospital for a couple nights. They really need to rethink those "chairs" that are supposed to fold flat into "beds." I got about 10 hours of sleep last night in a real bed.

Shew. So I DID go to Kentucky Tuesday-left after therapy at 930am, drove straight through getting there at 430pm...visited the pastor of the church for a couple hours, then church. left coming home at 930pm, got in at 420 this morning. Yes I was wore out. Then got up and put together tonight's bible study, and went to church. Tomorrow I have a mess o things to do, then Dr's visit Friday and back to work on Monday. I've liked being a kept man- going back to work like a common peasant distresses me.
Oh, and I broke my caffeine fast at day 43, on the way home at 2 am this morning, guzzling Monster Loco Mocha in an attempt to stay conscious. It worked and since I broke the fast I enjoyed my first dr Pepper in 43 days too.

I'm tired again just reading your post.

@Work. Face has cleared up some. Got wounded by Athena Tuesday evening, so my nose is tender haha. I still have whatever is goin on with this sinus/allergy stuff. Blowing my nose and the cough like it's my full time job, hahaha. Thankfully I FEEL better and my voice sounds tons better at least. :)

Haha same Nelle.

Husband got in his new truck we just got in November (its a 2018, but has been kept up, and obviously new to us) this morning and the check engine light was on with a "reduced power" message. CRIES whyyy cant these machines just STAY WORKING!!!! :pound:

Thankfully we bought a service type package that lasts 3 years (or a set amt of miles) so they will look at it and see what's going on for free.
Geico plan also includes one free tow to even get it to the service place.

This Thursday is MONDAYING annn ionnn like it.

Sooooo glad I'm way over here in Tennessee. I could wish that river between us was wider though.
