We had a birthday party at church today. Like, everybody's birthday party at once. 12 tables, each labeled with a month.

Actually it was 11 tables. Eight tables got their own month. The other three tables we could fit in the fellowship hall were divided into 4 months. My month was one of those, and I complained that it was not fair we did not get a whole table while August did.

Don't worry. The people at my church are used to me. They knew I wasn't serious.

Somebody in each month signed up to bring a dessert. I signed up for my month. Picked up a cheesecake from a place where none of my church goes, one of those 12 slice cheesecakes that have six different flavors, two slices per flavor. Brownie, raspberry, strawberry swirl, turtle, chocolate swirl, plain.

I also had two boxes of cheesecake bite squares as outriders. Aldi is a wonderful place. If you have never tried their cheesecake bites, do please go look for them.

So now I am peopled out and I don't want to people anymore for a few days please.

Same brand. Belmont. In the wall freezer cases on the side they also have little squares. They taste the same.

Shew. Been nice to not have anything to have to do today. Slept in got some work done on the apartment, once more remembering that I am NOT a carpenter...went by the church and took care of some stuff there, discoveringthat the water line we cut and capped off actually went to the baptistry, which means I have to fix that.
Grovery shopped. Now cooking dinner

I actually LOVE that birthday idea. That way everyone gets celebrated!!

Back @work. Feeling ROUGH. Sneezy, runny etc. I think I did it to myself... I had the window open yesterday in the house so the cat could sit in the window and get some good sun time and I'm allergic to way too much stuff haha. Hopefully between drugs and Jesus, I can quit this sniffling.

LOL to clarify.. legal pharmacy drugs. I finally got to take Coricidin this morning since my antihistamine finally was thru from yesterday morning. All of the cold meds I can take have that in there, so I didn't want to double up. Slept horribly last night and feel about the same or a little worse for wear today. I'm chasing that med with some OJ, so I'm TRYING to help. I drink more water now than I have ever in my life.. lol.. I'm hoping that'll count for something.

Hubbs is in DFW today for their "Reindeer Run" where they go and visit the stores in their district.
Then he's staying at his grandmas tonight cus he's got an eye appointment there in the AM.

So just me and the kitties tonight.
Hubbs and I started weight loss meds (compounded one) a month ago. My dose went up for the second month which I took today and whewwww it's made me so nauseated.

On the happy side- today, if I get time- my dear old Rusty truck goes to his "doctor" Getting some wiring issues fixed, but his main reason for going is- I'm having air conditioning put in for next summer. Gonna be awesome next summer driving my old friend with nice cold air in the cab. Maybe Lou will ride with me some now.

Hi. It's Friday. And pay day. Just a few more hours- and on to the next job. LOL. Get trailer, then run to Conway for pex to replace water line with. Tomorrow- finish up that part of the job hopefully.

Man. Today was long. I didn't actually do much- a man from our church, and a backslider and his son in law shower up with tractors and backhoes. They did most everything. I was there to fetch tools and buy parts. It was obvious they knew what to do, so I tried to stay out of the way.
 Church tomorrow- then a trip monday for carpet

Shew. Preached guts out. One more day down. Tomorrow- road trip.  Maybe next week, we will lay carpet. Thanksgiving break- I'm gonna do me things. Namely hide from people.

Went to Mississippi today and brought carpet home. Just got in about an hour ago. Long trip...good company and better food. Unfortunately back to the grind tomorrow.

Can't wait to be in Arkansas next week for Thanksgiving. I'm hoping our bosses let us off early that Wednesday so I can head down early. 

Finally starting to really feel better. Not sure what it was, but I'm thankful it's leaving. Our skunk issue is also slowly improving. I'm thankful for the past two days of better temp so we can open some windows. the SUN is back out today after the rainy Monday - causing me to be a lot more chipper of a person. LOL.

I would report a wonderful electric bicycle, but the parts haven't come in yet. Amazon says 2 weeks. This is punishment for me not paying for shipping. But I would rather wait than ante up.

I don't have all the parts yet, but I have the necessary stuff ordered. The main kit - electric wheel, torque arms, controller box, throttle, display, etc. - has already arrived. All I need now is the ego power mower battery, the battery adapter, battery charger and a couple odds and ends like brake adapters.

Yep, really thrilling times here at my house.

Back at work running my legs off. Lou had to have a dental appointment today. They price...ouch. It couldn't be more painful if they were drilling without Novocain.
Hoping to actually catch up in a week or so. I may have already said it- if not I am saying it now. Thanksgiving weekend? I AIN'T DOIN' NOTHING!
