Im actually on a real computer right now...in the hospital room with Dad. He had me bring the computer up so he can play solitaire. Thats all he knows how to play and do on the computer, and sometimes, eventhough I have solitaire icon on the desktop, he still asks me to show him where it is sometimes. lol

Some parents dont need technology. SMH.

Changed the church sign....I had not done so for an eternity.  Cleaned up the weeds.  Opened the crawl space vents.  What have you.

Home eating supper.

Gotta tend fowl.  Get ready to go knock people in the head at Target tomorrow.

SHARING:  A friend of mine is getting married June 16th in Kentucky.  The wedding is at 1pm but I really need to get there by 10:30am to make sure everything works right - I'm running the projector and music at the reception.  (What, you thought I'd just go as a guest?  I couldn't stay out of audio tech if my life depended on it.) :P

While I could get off work at midnight Friday night/Saturday morning, get a few hours sleep and then drive four hours to get there, I'd rather not be running on caffeine the whole day if I can help it.  I have decided I will take a vacation day Friday, go up to Nashville and make a day of wandering around looking through used music albums at various thrift shops and book/music stores.  Then I'll go on up to Kentucky, get a meal and a motel room and be ready to go bright and early Saturday.

My friends are not to know this, as they would probably try to defray costs - and they already have enough costs with this wedding.  And I will have a fun day Friday browsing through music, and after I go to ground at a motel somewhere I'll sort through all the music I got until I run out of music or run out of energy and go to bed.

I have mentioned on this forum before that I'm not really fond of travel, as it takes so cotton-picking long to get there.  I'd rather teleport.  But when you're *intentionally* taking your time, wandering around browsing through music, stopping at a restaurant you've never been to before... it's a lot of fun.  :D

Morning, All.

Cheeshead, for once I tend to agree with you.
And Isaac, be careful on your trip. There's lots of nuts out there.....

Going to work.  People better be considerate of me today lest I smite them.

Morning y'all.  Roscoe, I will.  But I have met very few people who are more nutty than I.  :hipafro:

Another lovely day.  I've got to get the house in imaculate condition and make some sort of snack for cell group tonight which is at our house.

Wondering how Andrew is doing at camp... I won't know until he's home on Saturday. I hope he gets something fresh from God and I'm excited to hear about it.

We're having our first annual "camp meeting" here at our church this weekend.  What's interesting is that I've only been to OK camp mtg and half at least, of our church has never been to a camp mtg... lol  So I'm not sure how it'll be different than a series of revival services.  People will still be going to work during the days and we don't have a big "going out to eat after church" type personality because we are all so spread out.  I'm excited to see how it will be different.  Michael Easter is preaching and since the holiday was on Pentecost, we are kind of celebrating that.  So Easter and Pentecost all at once... LOL

MelodyB

We usually have Bro Easter at Valentines day. Lol

That's a good reason.

I made some homemade whipped topping just because it was Tuesday, but it didn't set up right because I put too much vanilla in it.  So I crumbled up some brownies in it, half froze it, whipped it up, froze it the rest of the way - and had homemade cookies and creme ice cream.  Just because it's Wednesday.  :)

It's not as good as real ice cream though.

Went to work at the stupid Target, came home.

After I told them beggars can't be choosers yesterday, they got somebody to go work in there yesterday.  The little mousey woman from Indianapolis or wherever.
