Issac, I think other people's cats that come up and want to be petted and play with yarn with cute little purrs and meows, are cute.  I hate all other cats.

Jenn, come here, let me show you my present....   :pound:

Wait, let me parse that one out... so other people's cats are cute, but you hate all cats other than other people's cats... so the only cats you would hate would be any that belonged to you, assuming you had cats?

I hate pills and how they RUIN RUIN RUIN people's lives and the the people's lives that have to deal with them.

I am so sick of addictions and PILLS! I DO think that it has a direct relation to demonic and spiritual warfare. I just can't get all sorted and out on print.

Maybe soon.

Melodya...we need to talk about that theory.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Oh, and hello. Now that I'm done venting I can be normal for a few...well normal for me.

I'm at home. I came home, changed clothes, took an almost 5 hour nap, had a lovely argument with my mother, washed a load of clothes and presently I am going to eat some potato soup and then get a shower and head back to the hospital.

I'm tired, but my nap did make me feel better.

I am believing more and more the biggest battle to reach young people is with parents. Especially, when the parents are lost as a goose but think they are okay.

*The media is watching*
Yes-- and the law is watching the media, both here and on facebook..... :freaky2:

And Seth, I really don't know the percentage. Today it was rather high on the ticket side.... five stops, three tickets. BUT- I typically don't stop someone unless they are travelling at least 15 mph OVER the speed limit, so the hundreds that blow by me at ten over really should count on the warning side... Pretty much, if I stop them, they are probably gonna get a ticket unless they have a real good excuse. I try not to waste folks' time with a stop for a warning, prefering to flash my blue lights at them or something of that nature. That usually slows 'em down quick.

One of the three I stopped today, I couldn't tell how fast she was going. Being trained and having to accurately estimate speed before being licensed to run radar ( not only am I licensed, I am a State Certified Radar Instructor), I estimate she was travelling 65 mph- in a 35 mph zone. I was unable to lock the radar before she was GONE....I chased her down and it took me nearly three miles to catch her. She was talking to her passenger and didn't even notice that she went through a town, by her own admission. I was right behind her with lights and siren going, at 70 mph, for nearly a mile before she noticed me.

She received an award for Careless and Prohibited Driving...

Exactly Isaac.

& yes we should, Mel.

Long day. Longer day tomorrow but you know what? This is my month off of praise singing & I'm going to enjoy worshipping off the platform & not paying attention to what's going on in the music on Sunday.

I miss you guys, I have been so busy that I hardly have time to talk to the people I live with, much less the church and friends... But today is my first day of fun in a long time and I am so ready for it!!

So you DO still exist!

Now if only we had proof Chel still exists.  I'm beginning to doubt it.  :P

I think today I will do something my father used to do, but I never do.  I am going to go to the flea market and just look around, see what I can find that's interesting.

LOL

My carpets are being cleaned right now.  PTL!  So I'm kinda stuck upstairs for awhile.  I think I'll read on my deck.  I'm so proud of my awesome potatoes.  They're growing fantastically in their container.

It's a beautiful day and we're grilling with friends tonight.  Soaking my cashews all night makes a world of difference for this raw cheesecake.  I wish people were here to taste try it when it's turned out right! LOL

Hello.  :hi:

Been an interesting day here.....I'd planned on sleeping in, and when Lou left for work, I promptly went back to sleep. For about ten minutes. That's how long it took before she called me.

Lou- "Honey?"
Me- "What did you forget?"
Lou- "I kinda need you to get Chey up and get in the truck and come up the road toward town. And bring a chain."
Me- " Okay.---Wait, bring a chain? Why?"
Lou -" I kinda got pulled over for speeding, and when I pulled over, I kinda went in the ditch, and now the car won't pull out."
Me- "Lord."

No "kinda"  to it, she'd gotten stopped by a friend of mine- he got her at 67 mph in a 55, and probably got her clocked before she hit her stride- and had nosed the Caddy into a ditch.  :laughhard: So my sleeping in was shot, as well as Chey's. On the bright side, my buddy had mercy, and Rusty pulled out the Caddy with no apparent damage.
After we took care of that chore, Chey and I went to the donut shop, then to the lake and fished for a couple of hours, and to the car museum. Now I'm back home, and should be working on the mower- but I'm not. I'm considering a nap. :P
