Awe!! Mel you are so cool. I'm glad you used it to save many. I was worried my threats were not getting through to you lol.. but I like may. Just saying.
I am seriously sure we will have all the money we need...

With that being said, an estimated price after the votes are in would be great.
I understand prices will change do to people. I just want a goal to save towards.

Seriously, what does everyone need me to do?  ???  I know I was supposed to check on the mountain's motel prices- the website on the thread earlier listed the cabin prices and contact info. I guess we need to decide on a date and see who all is serious...

Yes.  I think the date will allow us to actually decide.  Then we can see how booked they are on those dates.  Sounds like we had better get our rooms early as possible.

Yeah- I was telling Bro Papa about it and he said that it books up early year round. He booked a minister, who is close friend of our church, a cabin for a weekend there a few years back for the minister and his wife as a gift to them so they could unwind a bit. He said he booked it a month out and wondered about the availability. :o

If that date gets solidified then next would be menu, right so we can alll contribute?

The nearest town is Morrilton. The old motel is Cedar Falls Motel, I think- don't know if it has a website or not. There is a beautiful new lodge there as well, Mather Lodge- they've been completely rebuilding it and I don't know if it will be open yet, or what the prices. I promise I will spend some time this Friday trying to find out a little more info.

Let me call Mel tomorrow and get back to you. As of now I am alright with the date, but I want to be positive, I AM EXCITED!!!

We will probably need to purchase the rooms ahead of time, to make sure we don't lose them, how will this work?
Will it all go on one credit card?
Will we need to seperate into groups and make confrence calls to decide?
Or will we need to ship a money order to someone?

I can contribute sourdough bread and fixings for a really good turkey sandwich, and lots of it.  Also all manner of desserts - lime cheesecake, fudge revel bars, egg custard pie, some very good chocolate oatmeal cookies, etc.

And I don't know- Let me check on the motel and other things, then determine what path we'll take. If we get the cabins, it might be best for someone to reserve one, then collect m.o. or cash from others.....we'll see. And I figured most of you would want to be back home sunday, so I was thinking Friday and Saturday.....either thursday night coming in or Friday morning. It's up to you guys. What ever works best for the majority. :thumbsup2:

Seriously, I can't commit at this point with dina moving to Abu Dhabi and either Chel or I will have to go with her.  I wish I had a firm date for that but don't ATM.

I seriously still don't know. We need a price estimate. It's gonna be hard for me either way cause there isn't any money and I don't have a vehicle at all of my own. But with a set date and a estimate of cost, maybe I can have an idea somehow.

And I'm still pushing for late summer...like september or thereabouts. Lol
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?
