Yeah, bring on the beef liver, gravy and onions!  :great:

Wait a minute, wasn't this thread supposed to be about a debate over some holiday or other...
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Exodus 29:25 (KJV)
...savour before the Lord: it is an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

Who said chocolate gravy wasn't in the Bible?

You is misusing scripture there, you vile person...need I remind you:

Revelation 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

Exodus 29:22Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder; for it is a ram of consecration: 23And one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the LORD: 24And thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them for a wave offering before the LORD. 25And thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the LORD: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

The Lord is talking about the fat, the meat, bread, oiled bread, and a wafer.  (And this also shows scriptural reference that liver is good for you!)
And here I though Lou had a problem cooking sometimes. She's just spiritual, :laughhard:  Oh, and Mini- if I want her to know I said that, I'll tell her. :pound:

By chocolate gravy, Stilts!! He just called you "hag" too!!

And I do believe I associated a question with that scripture. I like to apply scripture to my life...even the chocolate gravy I consume. Who can say that the following didn't have chocolate gravy on it? Maybe this is the first record of the creation of the delicacy.  :hypocrite:

Ezekiel 3:1-27 (KJV)
Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
Delight in the Lord...

Dont forget:  Ez 3:12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me a loud rumbling sound...  Thats proof of what chocolate gravy does to you!  :flush:  :ugly:

LOL. Nope, she don't glorify the heathen bush either. :biglaugh: And she refuses to try to make chocolate gravy. She tasted my mama's chocolate gravy and I think she's afraid that she can't measure up to it, so she won't try. Her burnt offerings are pizzas and the like.  :biglaugh:
She is actually a good cook. (In case she checks in here). :biglaugh:

All you did was relocate the negative in the sentence (a poorly constructed contraction at that). You said nothing different. Look, if you are going to post, quit repeating yourself!! *dances around singing..."Chocolate gravy in YO FACE"*....

This is not really germane to any of the issues raised in this thread to date, but it is a good essay that is kind of on topic:  http://www.cybersalt.org/gods-penman/merry-is-as-merry-celebrates
