Sorry that one is a little blurry...I know I have some better ones.

I will take some soon, and upload them :)
I'm just me, round and bubbly like a lil honey bee!

Melody

Awesome!

I can't post them from my phone so I'll come back & replace this post when I can get over to the library.

In the meantime, our site is www.tlckcmo.com

This is a pic of a copy of a pic, but this was from 1980.  The woman on the left is my mom.  There's another pic similar to this that I'm in.  I don't have it handy.  That was the "original" part of the building...

It was built in 1913 and was just a wood frame building.  Around 40 some years ago they dug a basement under it.  The back corner of it almost fell in the hole.  :freaky:  In 2000 addition was built onto it.  It wasn't all the way done when our pastor died.  Just today, Raymond, one of the guys working on the door mentioned that while the construction on the new part was going on, the workers found a piece of the old wood siding that had the pastor's name on it along with a girl's name, and he had told them to get rid of it and not let Fern (his wife) see it. lol    :freaky2: :o  I guess it must've been carved in the board back when he was a kid or whatever.  Raymond said he has it at home.

Anyhoo, just some historical trivia.  :P

That's a "current pic"....I'll have to take updated ones with everything done when the current sprucing up project is through.

My dad built the stone sign.

The following ones are of the church grounds.  Pics I took some years back now...they looked really good though, everything looked so pretty and green. lol  The fence is no longer there.  We were going to have to take down/move it where it bordered the road due to the road construction they were going to do, but the paint was getting bad on it at that time and it was looking cruddy, so we just took all of it down.  And now, that's what my chicken house, pheasant house, and parts of my pens are built out of here at the Ranch. lol :P

This one's a recent pic looking from up the road.

Here's some interiors.....they're from the last several years, so everything doesn't necessarily look just the same, but general idea remains.  Everything I have is outdated.  :P

Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Ok, made it to the library!  Yay!  I love seeing churches.

Here's the inside of our sanctuary.

Here's the front of the church

This is part of our narthex during a baby shower.

Not sure if these facebook videos will work...

The pictures lined up weird. I think probably because of the new board design. I'm going to re-post them in a new post.
When you say "Jesus" you've said everything.

Front of the church. Those windows are in the prayer gallery.

There are some good shots of the sanctuary and foyer in the virtual tour.

Welcome to our United Pentecostal Church!  This forum cut off my pictures so you'll probably need to use that scroll bar at the bottom of the post to see the whole picture.

This is the foyer where you enter.

Right after that is the hall that goes the width of the building.  The sanctuary is to the left, the hall to the rest of the church is to the right.  Do NOT get caught in this area when they dismiss the kids to Children's Church, you will get run over.

This is the sanctuary, seen from the back right corner.

Same room seen from the stage.

The sound booth.  I set this stuff up and meddle if something goes wrong, Bro. David runs it during service.

That Thinkpad laptop has a corrupt hard drive, but it's running everything, operating system and all, from the boxy external hard drive you see behind it.  Linux is a wonderful thing.

This is that hall I mentioned off to the right, that leads to the rest of the church.

And this is also a hall...

This is a hall too...

This building has been remodeled, re-remodeled and re-re-remodeled so many times that some halls used to be rooms, some rooms used to be halls and some are halls and rooms depending on what time of day it is.  If you walk into a room and you see a doorway on the other side, it's a hall.  Unless they're having class there at the moment, in which case it's a room.  Clear as mud?

This is my wee little office.

That computer with the front panel missing is slow by modern standards but it was built back when Dells were all white, it still has the "Made for Windows 98" sticker on the front, and it is running Windows XP with no complaints - OpenOffice, Nero and all.  Impressive!  My workplace was going to throw it away.  I said throw it my way!  I type the bulletin on it, burn audio CDs when we need some for the choir or something... and they were going to throw it out?  No way!

This is the Children's Church room.  Sis. Kim is redecorating for winter.  Don't look behind that black curtain.  Trust me, you don't want to know what's back there.

I TOLD you not to look!

We had a Christmas party recently and the kids helped bring stuff back upstairs, but they didn't know where to put it all.

The fellowship hall.

Most of the tables are not set up because they just had a ladies christmas banquet and it was set up all fancy.

Peeking through to the kitchen.  I'm not sure I want to go in, they look busy and I don't want to get drafted.

The kitchen.

The kitchen from another angle.  That's Bro. David, trying to get the fish fryer working.

That guy is pretty handy to have around.  A few months ago we were selling food for a local hunt club and the place they were setting up at had a bad 220 outlet.  He ran another outlet straight from the breaker box and we were in business.   :great:

Well that's my church and there's your pics.  There's a lot more than that, but those are the only parts worth taking a picture of.  If you ever visit, be sure to get a tour guide... you'll get lost if you go exploring on your own.

Fortunately we have big signs pointing to the bathrooms, so at least guests can find those.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."
:sing: :sing: :sing: :sing: :sing: :sing:

Is your church invisible, or is it just me?

Mountain Dew

I can't see them myself now. I could when I first posted them though.

Oh my lord, you've gone blind!

Chseeads

Did you try to link them directly from your email inbox, dear?  If so, that's the prob....they need to be posted somewhere else first...like Photobucket, or whatever.

Mountain Dew

That is exactly what I did. Lol. You pegged that one.

Seth, your church is lovely.  And Niki, I love those doorways!  It adds the feeling of magnificence!
