Does anyone know if anyone has waxed Minnesota68's hairy legs since I've been gone? I don't remember why we ever did that to begin with...or who helped me hold the ol'boy down. Might have been Amelia Badelia, Rainbow Jingles, or MedodyB...

I think Mrs.Mini just does his head now...

Roscoe!  :spitlaugh:  Ye'shur we about had some churkey the other day. Ohw Lordt!

Mt. Dew, it was a bit mushier than preferred.  I top it with cheese uncovered, and crank up the heat when I get home just till it's melted.  There's a suprise middle layer of alfredo sauce sprinkled with just a few grated carrots and tiny diced red pepper.  Flavor was still good.  Our company we had didn't come till a bit later because there was orchestra practice after church for the upcoming Christmas service.  I've made the same thing before and it turned out just fine, cooking all morning during church. Which for us, bc of praise singing= 8:30-1:30ish. I used a heavy bakeware though, I think metal or glass would probably cook too fast.

Nathan and I sang lead on choir song today.  I like it.  I'm trying to be spiritual and not make it romantic, but it's pretty sweet doing something unto God together. ☺

It also however always makes me feel like I WISH I could improve my singing.  And I know how I need to do it but am not sure where to start.  While I like some of the modern Christian music, it's lends much to be desired for vocals.  I wish I had some old time black gospel stuff.  Nothing after the, I don't know, the 70's maybe?  I wish I could find some list like that so I'd know what to buy besides the icons like Mahalia, Shirley Ceasar, Ella Fitzgerald, ect. Found a streaming documentary on Netflix about the last 200 years of American black music. Stirs me up!

Made me think of a random fact: I love baldheaded guys. They look so cool. You probably didn't need to know that; just consider it one of those little nuggets that bring us closer together.

Probably 'cause your little fat feet stretched them out.  :hypocrite:
:pound: But they were my color.....they really made the color in my eyes stand out. :laughhard:

I know that Roscoe would never wear Lou's shoes.

His size 3 feet are smaller than her size 8's.

Mrs. Mini (Chelleebelle on here) has got herself a big bald guy...lol

In other news, I realized the "shave your head cause you are balding" craze has went from a "I'm shaving cause I am bald" to a "You HAVE to shave your head if you are bald."  So I am not shaving my head any more, and letting my bald spot look ugly...just to be uncool.  Not that I was ever cool to begin with.

I don't have a categorical list but I can give you what I have...

AVB (All Vocal Band)
Fire Choir, from the Solid Rock Church (the first album is the best)
Judy Jacobs, the older live albums at least
Lanny Wolfe Trio (not black, but great for vocal embellishments)
Teddy Huffam and the Gems (recommended)
Walter Hawkins and the Love Center Choir (highly recommended) (1, 2, 3 and 5.  NOT 4!  Trust me on this.)
Nicholas, at least his album "Dedicated."  Don't know about all their others.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Sorry to hear that Laci.

Hellur *in my best Madea accent*

Fyi: you can bake a large lasagna in heavy bakeware (covered) for 4-6 hrs on 200° but not for 7+. Good lunch anyway.

Now sitting by a roaring fire. :)
I'll second the condolences, Laci. And Lord, Meller Yeller- You a "Madea" fan too?!? You and my wife would get along marvelously. Ain't figured out why when Tyler Perry dresses up like a woman, Lou thinks it's funny, but that one time I borrowed her shoes..... :o

I'm kidding, I'm kidding. :laughhard:

I too, am a Madea fan. I LOVE anything and everything Tyler Perry. I've seen him live too! I saw Madea's Great Big Happy Family live like 2 years ago. Best $75 I ever spent!

I'm spending the night. She begged me to. Lol so here I am.

Now gotta check FB and go to bed.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

God, I would like some peace.....  *sigh*

Mom got a nasty cold while I was still in the hospital, so I came home to that....she's on the mend I guess...and I guess dad has it now perhaps....he coughs and carries on constantly anyways...and anytime he gets sick it is HORRIBLE....

I would love to not be surrounded by disease and death for just a few minutes.....  Due to physical and mental stresses, I can't hardly eat and swallow food.

Morning y'all!

I just got up and Grandma says bring down the christmas tree and dig out the ornaments.  That's a heavy load to lay on a guy first thing in the morning. :-\
