Hey, Roscoe! You changed your name! Nice!
Yes. I changed my name.
Again. Y'all were gonna persist in calling me Roscoe anyway, might as well make it easy on anyone new who might wander in. And as you can see, I may have told an untruth..... I did not go to bed. I got interested online and still haven't logged off. :nono:

:pound: :pound: And fine, thank you.....Fixing to take Angelfluff the princess to school and have a day to myself. If the rain doesn't catch me, I'm going to try to finally get the church yard mowed. I had talked to a couple of brethren about mowing while my mower was dead, but alas, no one mowed it, and it looks shameful. We'll try to change that in about an hour. :thumbsup2:

Ive got to mow our church yard tomorrow.

Today was the first day of our kids school year.  This year we can drop them off for breakfast early.  That gives us plenty of time to get to work after that.

Morning.  Roscoe, send the rain this way.

I *believe* the figures I heard were somewhere around 4 inches of rain in my area last week.... Got a 40% chance of rain today, they're saying, and it was cloudy when I went to take Chey to school. I went ahead and mowed the church yard. I would've liked to wait until the grass dried because it would cut better, but was afraid it'd rain and I wouldn't get to cut the stuff. It was high enough to be embarrassing, so I went ahead and cut it, wet and all. Looks better than it did, anyway. And now it looks sunny out. Wish I had my Harley back, I'd take a little cruise.

But would you save more money in gas than you spent on the harley?

Over time- yes. My Harley was a baby harley- a Sportster that didn't cost too much. It wasn't a full growed HAWG it was just a wee little Piglet. :laughhard: And it got over 50 mpg... :thumbsup2:

Haha!

Trying to get myself into gear and moving this morning. Have bunches of stuff to do, but... *dragging* Maybe coffee? Or icecream? Or something?

My Little Man (Jason) has a sore throat today and is currently lolling about in bed. Doesn't seem to have a fever though.

Need to make some cookies today. (Probably molasses.) And also need to come up with something to take for the church picnic this Saturday. Pulling a blank there so far. Hmm...

Lady Wooby,

Make some pigs-in-a-blanket to take to the picnic!  :thumbsup2:

Bob/Five-Oh,

Dring thru a small southeast oklahoma town I saw an old truck withering away in a yard..no bed on it, but I would guess that cab chassis and frame to be from the 40's.

All,

About to change weather foerecasts, drop off dry cleaning, and go have dinner with a couple of friends I haven't seen in around 20 years!  :thumbsup2:

I wish I could drag ALL the '40s and '50s rides home and save them.
And John, you're having dinner with someone you haven't saw in 20 years- I'm offended. It's been longer than that since you've seen me, and I don't rate a visit. :nono:
