DUCKS!!

This is a sentence so I wont be accused of all caps in my post.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Religion is worthless until it is able to move outside the walls.

My latest blog post.

Home from work.  Only TWO more days!!!

Sad thing is...I won't get to be with my student most of the day on Thursday.  Even though my student is autistic, he can be left alone in the class with the teacher better than another student in another class that has behavior issues.  I have to spend most of the day with said other student because his associate's last day was today.  I'm just praying that they send a sub for the other associate!

Was going to nap....went to sleep....seemed like I slept a while...but, 10 minutes into it, the dog tried to raise the dead and woke me up.  :-?

And my belly is not right today....and such.

Feeling a mix of very satisfied and very annoyed right now. Very satisfied because I finally got off of my butt and got a cd player put in the miata. Now I can play CD's again.   The old cd player died about a month ago and I'm tired of listening to talk shows- hard to get a good christian radio staion around here unless it's black choir music style, which I abhor. I was pleasantly surprised to discover no wiring was required- the old cd player's plug and the new were the same. Good thing too- I was installing it while texting with someone in a weird conversation regarding bbq'd goat. :laughhard: I'd have probably burned the car down if I'd had to wire it.  :biglaugh:

Very annoyed because in my day of get all my chores done, I was progressing rather fantastically- until my John Deere ate its blade belt. That'll be $40 I didn't want to spend. :pound: Oh, well, can't win 'em all.
In other news, I tried a new chicken enchilada receipe a friend gave me. Very simple and quick to make, turned out absolutely delicious. This one will go in the "keep" file....

Oh, yeah, That is all. :biglaugh:

I don't mind choir music but I hate the repetitiveness that black gospel music is into.

Wish I had some of those chicken enchiladas. :fork:
We got some left. If you'd ever drag Bro Clarence up here- make him bring his famous banjo- I'm sure we could arrange to feed you.    Bro Papa was talking about y'all the other day and how you should come visit sometime. Think I'm gonna post that receipe in "All things food" so I'll have it if I lose the paper it's wrote on. :laughhard:

Oh- and to the other texting freak-- Baaaaa!

a lot of the apostolic shouting songs irritate me too.   Not into songs that you create another verse by changing one or two words.  What ever happened to the good old hymns and songs that had a real message in them.

Hi guys   :waving:

Bbq goat would probably be good.  If we ever actually get goats, I will eventually sell them for meat. I don't think we could eat them. We'd probably traumatize the kids. (no pun intended)

:laughhard: I started to say- it would definately traumitized the kids that were being cooked.

I've actually tasted BBQ goat when I was a child of around ten. A pet goat was caught walking on Daddy's prized pickup- same day the goat disappeared and we were invited to my uncles for a bbq that night. It was delicious, and years later Daddy admitted the meal was the goat.  :biglaugh: He didn't want to hurt us youngun's by killing it in front of us, so my uncle did the dirty work. Under no circumstances would the goat have lived- it effectively committed suicide the moment it jumped on that truck. :laughhard:

I'm quite fond of black-style music myself...about 60% of our church is black, and all the musicians except one drummer is black. Plus half our singers. Kimber and I might as well be black too...we can sing like them if we want...so can Livis parents...so that leaves TWO people on our platform besides one drummer and Pastor who is white.

Loooove me some black folks! Fo. Sho.

:pound: :pound: IT'S NOT PINK!! :pound: :pound:

Outta all that Seth and Mel have been up to in the last two pages, and you hone in on me?!?  :nono: I SHALL get even. :biglaugh:

Oh, and Mel- I love black folks too. Also hispanics. I just don't care for either cultures' music, for the most part. I will have to make an exception on some black music- they are the inventors of Blues, and I love that style.

Oh, and-  That is all.
