:hi:

Hello peoples.

:highfive:

Wow is all I can say! We serve a mighty and awesome God! My first day in northern Texas and I found a homeless family that has been sleeping in the park for 6 months now. Got to talk with them, share something to eat with them and pray with them.

Tomorrow for lunch I get to teach them a bible study, then praying they will go to meet some of the people at a local church for prayer meeting and fellowship!

i am pumped!

* sunlight is so proud... (like I had anything to do with it... hahhaa!)

Woohoo! go Barb!
  :attackhug: Be full of hugs!

Let the record show, I Kmymbir have read the last few pages that have been added in my absence. The only thing I have to add is WOW. Also I am trying to find something to throw a >Mad Fit< about so that I can fit in with the latest trend!

The latest trend is to throw a mad fit?  Man, some of the kids in Children's Church must have been way ahead of their time.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."
:sing: :sing: :sing: :sing: :sing: :sing:

Oooo, I can see this in the near future! It has great potential.
"Hey Mel, remember when I first joined and you left that sweet little message??

Learning to hug is a very useful skill, Barb.  :-)

rofl  Taco?  Taco Who?  :hypocrite:

Seriously, though, hugging is a very important component of ministry, IMHO.  Especially when you're reaching out to people that the world at large doesn't want to talk to, let alone reach out and touch as if they were a normal human being.

SippinTea

Hugs are good. ;)

Taco, I just might be. And it just might be soon. :bigcheese: And I just might be deliriously happy about that. :bigcheese:

I'm exhausted! Haha. I got home from IL about 20 min ago. I have to be up at 6 for work! :( I'm gonna regret leaving so late haha.

Testifying wasn't awful but I turned bright red! I thought he has forgotten after THREE hours of church, but he hadn't!! He asked me to stand and greet the congregation. I was like, "I'm glad to be here, but I don't want to stand." haha.. My friend married his son Tony and they now live down here in AR. The pastor said "yeah, these girls from Jonesboro. Not sure what's going on there but they don't talk much." hahahahahahaha

And that might just be the understatement of the century... especially the delirious part!!   :laughhard:

RainbowJingles

I think the understatement part is the "maybe" part!  lol

Decided to drink a good ol Dr. Pepper last night.  Stupid drink kept me up till way past midnight.  Caffeine...

Iffn you would, we would appreciate a few prayers these next few days.  Grey hairs are in abundance...well they were.  I figured out how to rid yourself of them...I shaved them off!  :P

Funny how the one thing I hated the most ended up meaning the most. And yes hugs are going to be very useful on this journey. Am sooo excited!

Good.  Then the thread was not in vain, even if she never posts again.

:P

It's cold today....I froze this morning.

And I hate stupid people....arrrrggggh.

It's a bit cool-ish here as well.  If it doesn't rain, it should be a nice bike ride to work.  Might need a jacket on the return though...

At any rate, howdy y'all.  If anyone has any prayer time left over in your normal day, might say a prayer that Bro. David and I (the sound booth guys) can finally get it through to the powers that be that we need a new sound board.  We've been doing work-arounds for more than two years now, trying to keep it functional despite channels dying and even the main sound out dying, but it's getting to the point that we're running out of work-arounds to work with.
