DO you have a bad back? I know if I nap in the floor it is usually because my back is killing me. Or do you just find the floor comfortable?

Hey, Seth. There's a guy in advertising in the local paper for a stuffed armadillio, wanting to buy or take it off your hands. I immediately thought of you. It was weird enough a columnist did a brief article on it, apparently he needs it for a prank.

Roscoe...you will be glad to know that I have had to pray thru 5 times tonight, and 2 times of that was cause of a desk I bought from Walmart!  :P

I've heard it said that anything that will make you pray is a blessing. :laughhard: And in that vein, I've been a blessing several times in my life.

Buy more walmart! You're funding my only chance at retirement.

He better get a move on it then if he wants to do it in his OLD AGE. Much longer and he will be to ancient to do it. lol

It's because I was too sleepy and tired to want to move and go elsewhere a little more comfortable, so I just slumped to the floor and had at it.  :smirk2:  lol

Went to work, came home.

I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, and today I decided to ride my bike to work for the first time in 8 years or so.  When I got home I was so tired my vision was flickering.  Either I'm out of shape, I got even less sleep than I thought or both.  Probably both.

Busy week... haven't been in the sharing thread for a while.

:hi:

Got permission on Tuesday from Molly's dad to ask her to marry me...

Spent all day trying to find a special rose... one that is normally special order, and nobody I called had them on hand. The closest thing to it was a "lavender"... but I really wanted to find the blue ones. Despite the thoughts of not going to the Jonny Diaz / 33 Miles concert due to trying to put together my thoughts, I went... it was in fact why I found the special "Blue" Rose in question... The driver suggested we stop at the place I found the first one, so we did on our way to the concert and they had 15 of them... they just arrived yesterday! Thank you Jesus! LOL

So tomorrow night I'll propose to her... very excited. Life truely has been a whirlwind this past couple of weeks, and I expect it will just get even more crazed as wedding plans officially begin. LOL.

Aren't you concerned someone here will read that and tell Molly about it?  Or is it an open secret you intend to ask her?

At any rate, congrats!

If anyone here had her phone number... I might be, except that she knows I am doing it... lol. She wanted me to ask her on Tuesday night after I talked to her dad (Which she knew about as well... lol) but I didn't want too, citing that there is nothing romantic about her kitchen... lol.

Wow! Go you! :hyper:

So...if armadillos carry leprosy, then why don't they all die from it? Or at least be missing limbs and such?

Sorry...I can't get over that random fact I learned yesterday.

No Mel, Lou works there and has for several years. As I'm sure my little public servant pension won't be great, we also invest some in their stock. Thus, buy more Walmart- and support five-oh's retirement. :laughhard:

Congrats again, you big lug. Maybe this would be a good time to return to the thread where wedding costs were being discussed and *someone* gave quite the lowball estimate. :up2:

And Morning, all.  Stop grumbling, ya big oaf. It's a beautiful day God has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.  :hypocrite:

spring weddings, spring engagements.. it's all very lovely. ♥

Watched the highlights of the royal wedding.  Common weddings are much more heartfelt for sure. ☺

It's supposed to get to a :shine: 77° today!!  Yay!  :bustamove:

That's a good question.  I couldn't tell if she was just nervous or what.  I'd be nervous for sure but I suspect that looking into my groom's eyes reciting my vows would bring some tear or peaceful moment or something.  But I'm not groomed for royalty so I have no clue.  All the best to them though!  Not sure what the royal family does but I hope they do a good job at it!
