"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Finally some sunshine today! Weatherman says it could finally get up to 70° !!

Man, the weather down south is Crazy! I know you all get tornados every year but is it usually this bad?  I can't listen to the news on comparison cause they keep saying global warming silliness, especially since it's colder here longer than normal.

I remember when I was preggo w/ Andrew and we had a 1/2? mile tornado come through our little town of 7K.  We were on the 3rd story and watched it across town.  It was so big it was hard to make out, just looked like darkness destroying everything.  The debris flying was crazy.

And Meller was hollering at her hubby "HURRY UP WITH MY MOON PIE AND RC COLA!  IM HAVING A CRAVING!  AND SWEEEEEET!  LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT TORNADO!  ORDER ME A PIZZA TOO!"

I wonder if we made a wax figure of Mini, and then melted it, if we'd get Roscoe... -MellerYeller

You live dangerously, Mini. Mellow Yellow's gonna punch you- and it'd be well deserved I'm thinking. :laughhard:

Oh. The Email was from Donna. I didn't realize I didn't mention her. LOL.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Melody

BOL!  He wouldn't've done anything, he was the one standing in front of the window, fresh out the shower while I was saying "C'mon, I don't feel like waddling down 3 flights of stairs when it hits."  He had never seen such a big one that close before though so I went and sat in the bathtub.  I think he learned his lesson though cause helping a big pregnant woman out the bathtub is no small effort.

That pregnancy I would've braved that tornado myself for a Jello Pudding Pop.

We actually did go on a snack run during another tornado and when we got in there, they ushered everyone back into the freezer? area.  I was so irritated. No cheetos or action.

When I was like 8 or 9 maybe we had a tornado and we were in the basement, but the best place in the basement still had windows.  It was a remodeled apartment beneath the church for the pastor's family, my uncle.  So we got under the covers of a water bed. (doesn't make much sense to me but I think it was all kind of sudden) The windows blew out and I remember feeling the glass fall on the blanket over us.  There were a number of tornadoes that day.

At about the same time frame my step dad was driving and one came behind him.  He prayed something, the truck lifted up off the ground, still going straight on the road! and then plopped back down again.  He said he doesn't think it was the tornado, he believes it was the hand of God.

I've never seen a tornado in person, and I must say, even though it seems interesting in an awe inspiring curious sort of way, I would be happy never to.  Regular old bad storms are plenty bad enough without a twister.  Pictures of them is close enough for me.

That's only my Internet facade.

Inside I am a hateful, bitter, broken old codger.  :P

John, I'd rather see many, many armadillos, carry leprosy though they may, than a tornado. lol

Rex and Helen are my Aunt and Uncle, and Kendall and Joey are their sons. Donna is Kendalls wife.

Just so that message doesn't confuse anyone.

But this explanation adds confusion....because you never mentioned Donna in the first post....

Mowed a little grass.  I'm done in.

Rain showers moving through.

Was tacking a couple pieces of tin back on what's left of the old barn so it won't finish rotting completely to the ground quite as fast.  :smirk2:

If they don't do Something soon, the levees on the Mississippi are gonna be bad. My boyfriend's sister had to be rescued by boat from her house last week. They live over in southwestern Illinois.
