Quotecalumnious

The things that the reported said were very calumnious and will have serious consequence.

macarism

(i agree, i only said worthless because that is what most people think. i love words and love learning new ones. and using them and watching the person scramble to figure out a way to pretend they knew what i said lol)
Religion is worthless until it is able to move outside the walls.

The visiting archbishop pronounced an official macarism to the congregation for their new church building.

Demarcate.

Can we use variations of a word, such as demarcation?  And I think it should be a rule that you have to come up with a word out of your own head... looking up words from a list online by googling "difficult (and/or) obscure words" is just too easy.  Figuring out what someone else's submitted word is, that can be googled I guess.

What I meant about being able to tell a lot about people is when someone runs up against something unexpected his automatic responses are derailed and the social mask slips a bit.  Then you see a glimpse of his true self.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Forgot to type the rest of that... About the social mask slipping, reminds me of this diner owned and operated by a man with a great sense of humor.  Jokes were all over the wall, like "If you are cantankerous, unruly or just plain unpleasant there will be a $5 charge for having to put up with you."  On the counter was a small wooden box that said on the lid, "Open only in case of fire."  When you opened it (as almost everyone did) the inside only had more words, "I said in case of fire stupid!"

He said it was amazing the different reactions people gave.  Some would laugh, some would be disgusted, some would get downright hostile.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

some days it is hard to demarcate what is real and what isnt.

The politician wanted to show how strongly he felt about the issue, but his unctuous manner of delivering his speech was a turnoff to some voters because it came across as fake emotion.  And in fact it was.  :P

pusillanimous

I have seen that word far too often used lately, or at least that sentiment... Everyone thinks his child is a wunderkind. :P

I have a friend that likes to throw around words like antidisestablishmentarianism  and supercalifragalisticexpialadocious because it makes them feel smart.

tintinnabulation
  :attackhug: Be full of hugs!

You really know someone who uses words like that?  I have never found a use for that word in any normal (or even slightly abnormal) conversation.

The tintinnabulation from the church steeple summoned the townspeople to worship service.

perspicacity
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."
