I haven't talked to him in forever!! I can't even remember his name at the moment haha.. :/

Isn't his name Robert?!

That sounds like it could be right! Lol.. We use to joke around all the time!! Miss the old days..

Finally opening up the store. Longest morning ever!!

Oh the days of chat back then...lol sooo many memories...

Tried a new cereal today: Cinnamon Burst Cheerios....YUM

His name is Robert... and he was the first Bob ever... a whole world away.

Random fact... I was over at a friend's house looking at her wedding picts, and saw Bob's picture there, and it turns out she is Bob's sister... hahaha! I texted him about it and then took forever to stop laughing at the coincidence.

I heard a lesson on it this past weekend, thought man, i need to share that thought with our church, and built a lesson out of it.  Who did you hear speaking on it?

Howdy y'all.  Back from w*rk, no time to work on Sis. Jessica's soundtrack.  Youth pastor told me from here on out I'm doing preliminaries for youth services.  I'm a minister, I've preached before, this should be no problem... right?  Right.

So why am I nervous?

Man I hate public speaking.  Sometimes I think either God got me mixed up with someone else or I got my orders mixed up.

Preaching is usually much less nerve racking than prelims for most preachers I think. lol

Not sure why though. lol

I will be praying for you and your nerves.

I knew one guy who use to say that he knew he was called to be an evangelist, because the thought of doing prelims and running a whole service made him want to throw up. lol

So I walked to the store today, picked up a few things and was sitting outside resting before making the walk home, and this older gentleman walked up to me and said he loved my hat, that I looked like a lady and that's rare these days. (never been accused of that one before lol) he said, women have lost the art of how to dress classy these days. he said, keep wearing the hats lol

was nice outside though. nap time now.  :waving:

Mom and Dad actually made dinner. Mom pattied out ground round and Dad cooked it on the grill.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

now there are times that I wish that I could do something different about who I work with... but that's a whole nother story.  lol.

Just had to post this... cause work is not a bad word to me.

Taco, your bird flu may have flown west. After texting you telling you of my radio purchase today, I was overtaken by a feeling comparable to being ran over by a large truck. I'm now sitting here, having taken meds, feeling like- well, like that stuff Seth was scraping up the other day. Not good.

But my radio works real well- only problem is  that it is apparently a shortwave model, as I am currently listening to "Radio Taiwan". :laughhard:

It is a really cool looking little radio and the only thing I can find on the internet is that it was made in 1942 by "Silvertone", for Sears, Roebuck, and Company. Gonna have to look for more info, it probably isn't worth the $35 I gave for it, but being the history nut I am, I thought it was cool that someone probably heard the news of WW2's conclusion over it.
Apparently, I'm a nut. :laughhard:

If it is a shortwave radio that would probably make it worth more than you paid for it. The little battery operated plastic shortwave I have cost me $20. Shortwaves can cost a good bit for a good one.

Looked it up, one guy says his can pick up fm stations and long wave/short wave stations according to how you tune it in. Sounds like you got a good deal.

Hoping you get to feeling better.

Good lesson tonight at church. I'm glad I'm 'home' (even though it's still kinda awkward since my ex goes there and all the newer people look at me weird. They have no idea I've been around for 10 years off and on)

Reading and eating some popcorn.

Went to church at Sanders.  Came home.

Preaching somewhere always reveals all the liars in the church - they all tell you how good it was and how they enjoyed it.

Men should start wearing them again too like in the 40's. You always look classier in a hat!
