Bob,

I'm sure you know my above post was humor....as to coming over, Maybe this next month? I'm planning on taking at least a few days off. I lost 90% of my newspaper writing, so my take-home pay took a big hit. I was/am hoping to make it to Mississippi for a medieval-style event. Normally the road goes thru the south, but if I don't impress a woman I used to know now living in Louisiana enough :) I may drive back a northern route.

Better get moving... I do want to met up.

John  :waving:
Humor? You? I don't believe it. :biglaugh: I hate that your take home pay got hammered, I know that's painful. Let me know when you think you may wander through here, I'm home in the evenings and off on Tues and Wed, right now. I'm praying for a switch to Fridays and Saturdays off, but it hasn't happened yet. I'll pm you my numbers so you'll have them.

I was too...but I knew it would prolly be locked while I was posting, so I was smart and copied my post before I lost it...and here it is:

I didn't think of that song!! And I was here alone last night for the most part. Justins Aunt gave me a key and she went "out" after work to go partying with her friends. I was asleep by 1:30, and I'm not sure what time she made it in, currently, she is passed out on her bed and it appears she is still dressed from last night. :o

I ALMOST brought my remaining tattoos to put them on Aliyah, but I didnt. I didn't think I would have a chance...I wish I had done it now. :smirk2:
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Yeah, I used the back button and copied my post and pasted it. :biglaugh: I don't understand what people see in go "out" and getting tore up to the point of passing out. Guess I'm just looking at it from the perspective of someone that God has kept from that life, thankfully.

five-oh, it's not MY fault they sang a good song.
Actually, I'm quite enjoying the set.  Got it playing in the background on the laptop now. They've got several good songs. I don't know what it is about older southern gospel music, it just relaxes me. Maybe it's because that's all Mama listened to when I was growing up, and hearing it takes me back to a simpler time in my life.

For some reason, most of the newer songs just don't move me like the older stuff.

Well, the simple explanation for that would be:  Because you're old, dummy.

Because you have the whole era to look back on and pick the good ones.  You hear modern music while it's modern, so you hear the good with the bad.  In 20 years what is currently the younger generation will be saying exactly the same thing about "their" music, comparing it to what will then be "modern" music.

:pound: .  I'm thinking you're near my age, so you're old, too. I won't go into old age quietly and alone, I'll be screaming and dragging folks like you with me. :biglaugh:

Good Morning for 4 more minutes. ☺

It's a quiet day here.  Back to regular winter, snow and ice doesn't seem to be melting.

Made a Betty Crocker gluten free yellow cake, added lots of chocolate and some awesome chocolatey frosting.  It was pretty decent! I had a sugar/carb induced coma afterwards. ☺

The Cosby Show is on instant play on Netflix now.  I love that show! I don't think there has been as good of a family sitcom since.
