five-oh, last time it was that nasty here we has 2 STUPID men on 4 wheelers at 2am in the street, reving up motors and riding them for like 2 hours. I called the police cause they had the whole neighborhood up and they would not coe out in the weather unlesss it was an emergency

Yeah, we did the "respond only in emergency" thing too. To start with, idiots on fourwheelers usually vanish before we could slide our way to the scene, and they can go places a patrol unit can't. I always told my boys I'd rather them go home unhurt at the end of the shift than put themselves in harm's way over something that is simply annoying.

Everybody wants to prove they can drive in it and generally prove the opposite, leaving us wreck after wreck to work.

The only thing most people who want to prove they can drive in it are missing is to SLOW DOWN!  And to not panic and hit the brakes if you start sliding. 

About the people who need to learn respect:  That's what BB guns are made for.  *glances at five-oh*  Uh... I didn't say that.  Never mind.

I had to tie Whit to the porch cause he kept climbing the fence.  I guess Chel's going to have to get one of the shock collars or something.

Pf, what did Chel do to you to cause you to want a shock collar for her?    She seems to be a sensible nice person.

I can't say anything about BB guns- Was a time, several years back before I was an old married man and when I was not so strong in church, that I rode motorcycles crosscountry for a hobby. There's *probaably* a few spiderwebbed windsheilds around as a result of a handful of BBs that I *might* have let slip from a hand to teach someone that cut me off or nearly ran over me a lesson.  That was pre-cop life for me though.

It was 80 something yesterday and 48 on my way to work this morning, but already up to 59 so far.

Rain would be amazing at about 10:30pm tonight...I'll open the window (like I did last night and well every night this week)...and have BLISSFUL sleep.

If it's pouring rain, the dog across the street won't be barking like there is no tomorrow.
