i dont like the fact that its songs by kids for kids, and its grown up songs...it is aggravating! i guess im so used to letting my kids hear christian songs with kids singing..but it makes me sad that so many parents let their kids sing so many worldly songs and think its 100% ok

:freaky2:  Ya just never know, Dina.  Ya just never know!  :freaky2:

First time he got knighted.  This time he might get day-ted.  :freaky2:  rofl
So if he's missed he might get Mrs'd?

Hmmm...  I don't think there's a chance of Aaron getting Mrs'd.  WAY too NOT feminine for that one!
He MAY, however, FIND his Mrs.  :freaky2:

Today's topic is-- Women Drivers

You know, we all pull boneheaded stunts, sometimes, when we are behind the wheel.
It's easy, and often wrong, to stereotype any person or group as to a pattern of behaviour.

However, approaching slowed/stopped traffic at a light, recently, I noticed the SUV in
the other lane was driven by an attractive woman, of, shall we guestimate, 35-40 years
of age.

Noticing her for some moments as traffic was stationary or moved slowly, I realized she was
no ordinary driver. She had what appeared to be a poodle in her lap (I'm NOT a dog person,)
and had what may have been a blackberrry in her left hand, while reaching forward and to
the side with her right hand.

Even as she pulled away in the inside lane away from me, I'm not sure I ever saw a hand
on the wheel. Now, I could make some quip about women drivers, but someone gave me
another thought;

Perhaps it was the POODLE that was DRIVING the SUV, which made me think further that
the woman could just be a cushion to get the poodle up high enough to handle the wheel,
and a convenient scapegoat in case the SUV was pulled over by law enforcement.

   What think ye?

Ashlee

:o I think you have too much time on your hands John. lol

And I also think that woman was very unintelligent to be driving like that.  I mean, a poodle?  Come one...*I'm not a dog person either*.  lol

Sis

That still can't beat the guy who was reading the newspaper on the freeway, doing 65! He had it spread over the wheel and was looking down at it as we passed him. I wasn't driving, so I got a good look. Wish I'd had my camera out.

Usually dummies like this cause the accidents and go merrily along not even knowing what was left in their wake.

Newsman

Well, I'll give you Ladies a laugh at us guys.

Many years ago, when myse..err, a few guys I know were on a road trip in an
old beatup hybrid station wagon with no tailgate section, we pulled an interesting
visual stunt on other drivers.

There were three of u..um, the guys in the wagon; two in the front seat, and one
in the back.

We..umm, THEY had the guy in the drivers seat just sit there, maybe with an open
newspaper and maybe not (I really don't recall,) using his feet on the pedals. I.. err, the
guy in the passenger seast, used a hand under the level of the dash to on the wheel to
steer the vehicle, while the guy in the back propped his legs up on the driver's side dash.

It looked to approaching traffic like a guy with his legs propped up on the steering
wheel, maybe with what looked like a newspaper open and reading, rolliing down a major
highway at speed. Come to think of it, it seems like we would have had the open
newspaper going.

Those were the days..for those guys! :)

Why not, Aaron?
I mean, you've got such a fantastic look in your av.  What woman wouldn't just...  ummm...  melt at your... ummm... smile?

:gag: times two.

I can't think any gal would particularly enjoy kissing THAT. *choke gag sputter*

I can just hear the conversation: "Whaddya mean you have a headache? AGAIN?!? Doesn't that make, like, a headache every day for... a year, or somethin'?"

*grin* The black and white scruffy theme seems to be of much more interest around here than apples with fangs and a tongue. :o

Where's Mary? She should be very happy now.

Oh, I am - believe me I am

I really liked the apple though LOL  but in the absence of regular scruff updates a scruffy avatar is best
