Ok, I have to give God some praise here.

This morning at work, we had an incident in the kitchen that could have proved quite traumatic.  I had just dished out the egg casserole from the first class, and left the pan on the stove temporarily so I could go get something for lunch started so it would cook in time.  Meanwhile, my assistant had put a pot of water on the stove to boil.  Unknowingly, she turned the wrong burner on.  She turned the one that was under the baking dish, NOT the one under her pot of water.  I was JUST finishing up getting lunch started, and was starting to turn to go back and check on the food in the oven when we heard a horrendous "crash".  It seriously sounded like the ceiling was collapsing!  We turned, and there was glass EVERYWHERE.  It had even went out into the area where the children were sitting and eating.  Thankfully none of them were hit by flying shards of glass.  Some of the glass was so hot, it left burn marks on the kitchen floor.  Had it happened a mere 30 or so seconds later, my face would have been MAYBE 6 inches from the glass when it exploded.  THANK YOU JESUS!  

God is good!

Im home. I went to Cindys and had dinner. It was awesome. Then I watched her yell at her kids all night. I did play baseball with Connor Ryan Allen Palmer. I also helped him get ready for bed, and he gave me a Now N Later. He was so sweet today.

aj, i've had that happen, too.  it's crazy!  glad you were protected by Someone who was watching!  God is good!

It's just amazing that something that's made to withstand high temperatures could shatter into so many tiny pieces.  It literally shattered like the glass from a car's windshield.  I've heard of glass baking dishes cracking and such, but never shattering like that.

God was definitely watching over us this morning!

Ok ya'll.  I'm tired and worn out.  I didn't get a nap this afternoon, so it's time to get some sleep.  I will try and get on before I head out of town tomorrow afternoon.  If not, I won't be back on until Saturday afternoon/evening sometime.
