That was easier than I thought, and she isnt as mean and unhappy as I have thought my whole life. Go figure. Just goes to show you not to judge people before you get to know them.

PTL maybe that is the avenue that God had to get your mind off of the troubles you've been having. but dont let the blessing stop with you. show someone else how making a pie or something as simple as that can start a new and wonderfull relationship. who knows what can be acomplished by this work. i remember in acts where it said the whole church gave of their abundance and no one in the church had need for anything. also beware of what happened to ananias(i think) he sold what he had and held back and said he gave all then fell and gave up the Ghost. love yall take care and see yall       -yo

Sounds awesome, last night I preached in Kings Mtn.  When I got home we went to bed early and slept until 10:18 this morning.  I was wore plum out.  We had gotten up at 3:33 Sunday morning to pray.  Man we are always so busy on Sunday's that my the time we get home we just fall over.  But wouldn't want to change working for God for anything.  It is the most awarding job a person can have.  There is just something about seeing peoplelives change for the better.  No amount of money can buy that.

she'll answer by and by. our church has continued the work that was shown to bro dad in the way of uniting members by drawing names and whoever's name you get you can call and readem a bible passage or bake a pie. just what ever the lord lays on ya to do. our church is using this technique to break the ice so to speak. i'm sad to say we had two members to decline the activity and walked out on the idea. maybe we need to let'em see how much fun we are haveing!! funny thing is the sunday school lesson was on charity and these folks, as usuall wanted prayer for undisclosed reasons and wanted us to pray they would stay in the will of God. hmmmm! we prayed their heart would be opened to the church. well they asked for it. hahahaha.

i drew the name of the elderly lady that made the pie that got this thing going. i want to change her oil and make sure her car is winterized with antifreeze and new wipers. just using the skills that came early in life!!

I got a hold of Sis French...I was calling the wrong number the whole time. Haha! So I finally got her, and she IS a talker...spent 15 mins on the phone with her, and Im going over there tomorrow around 2.

as in the pie making, i wanted to do something outside of church boundries that had something to do with things we are talented with outside of church. i could call and read a verse, but what did that actually cost me! i wanted there to be a sacrifice in it. so i opted to do what i know how to do. mechanics is a fair sideline trade for me as i did go to school for it, and as long as the car dont have any computer problems, i can work on it.

I made the pie this morning.



Its GOOOOOOD too....I licked the bowl.

Two Boxes of Vanilla instant pudding
one large can of crushed pineapple with juice
two cups of sour cream
four tablespoons of sugar

Blend with hand mixer for 2 mins, put in a graham cracker pie crust, and chill for 3 hours.

Top with cool whip and eat!!

IT IS SOOOO GOOD!!

I am so thrilled about the ministry there in Evergreen, MS.  I told my wife I see Revival in Evergreen.  Always remember everyone except 8 people were destroyed in the flood.  Everybody in the whole world came from 8 people.  If god can do that in the natural, how much can He do in the Spirit.  I am getting excited about what God is doing.  I am believing someone is going to get the Holy Ghost real soon.
