i like the thoenes, too, but haven't ready any of their stuff in a long, long time.  the shiloh legacy series is my ultimate favorite of theirs.  i worked with a guy that i swear was jefferson canfield stepped out of the book.

what is your favorite children's book?

When I was in Pre-K I loved 'Are You My Mother?' so much that I 'published' my own construction paper version, complete with illustrations, narration, my author's bio on the back, and a medal of excellence on the cover.

True story. I was a meticulous 4-year-old.

Now, I love to read to my nephews, but they usually choose the books. So far, they've loved Veggie Tales and Bibleman books, so I'm more than happy to oblige them.

what will you do with your degree when you get it?

I want to do family counseling and university-level teaching eventually, but I'm more interested in marketing and graphics right now, so when I'm finished with my BA, I'm going to try for acceptance into a graduate program focused more on the creative side. Psychology will be a large part of marketing, so it won't hurt, and later on, I can switch gears and go for my PhD.

do you have a favorite thoene character?  who is it?

I do! Elisa Lindheim from The Zion Chronicles. She's beautiful, she's brave, and Murphy is in love with her - although Murphy himself might be a hot contender for the number one spot. *grin*

when i was little i wrote *the little mermaid*....i even illustrated it....sometimes when i do a good deep cleaning, i come across it...i need to put it up next time i find it...
