Wellll, that nickname reminds me an awful lot of that girl at mom's work who wore that "Dubble Bubble" shirt... and had some stuff to back it up. Soooo, I'm not so keen on that nic. K,thx.  :freaky2:

Rabbit-cat... see, I have to be careful what I admit here because we'll be meeting some people who could use certain weaknesses* to their advantage. I've never, ever, ever wanted to go outside after dark* to do ANYTHING! However, this particular time there was no other option. I don't really remember why, I just know that I had to go. So I did. And we have a bajillion rabbits around our house, and those, along with the occasional cat, are always nosing through our backyard at night. (And sometimes a 'possum.) Well, I was hurrying through what I need to do when I heard this distinctive scurrying sound behind me and I just forgot it and ran. When I got in the house I was pretty shook up and my Mom and Chel were wanting to know why and I said really fast that there was a rabbit-cat outside; meaning one or the other. In any case, since some people don't let certain things DIE, this has become the catch-all label for "things that go bump in our backyard."

The Purple Fuzzy

I think Bubbles is a good nic for you. ;)

iridiscente

Like mother like daughter.  :P

RainbowJingles

I wonder if there are any rabbit-cats in Oklahoma...  :o

:laughhard:

Great story-turned inside joke.  lol

Sure. So are you. Stubborn as a mule.

SippinTea

Love the story, Dina. :thumbsup2:

What's the best prank you've ever pulled on Chel?
In what ways are you and Chel alike?
In what ways are you opposite?

How many people who spend more than one day with Chel live to tell about it?  :o

How many guys have you and Chel talked to on the phone and tried to mix them up with yoru voices?

What kind of car do you have to drive to transport your 9 children?

:beret:
Well, for the prank thing, we're usually in it together. She knows me better than anyone else, so I try not to "prank" her that much, she has too much dirt on ME. :D lol. HOWEVER, I have a great idea for when we get to Oklahoma if anyone's interested!

We are alike in many ways... Long brown hair, brown eyes, Cajun babies, know how to go up and talk to perfect strangers easily (though she's better at that,) have friends in MANY places, we want God to be the priority in our life, we both see traveling in our future, family is VERY important to us, we both write poetry and take pictures (though hers are better).... and it goes on and on.
BUT
We are also opposite in lots of ways. Chel is more extroverted, more happy-go-lucky, while I tend to be more pensive and less self assured. I've found my Prince Charming, she's still trusting God on that one. Her hair is naturally a beautiful straight and mine is naturally a horrendous kinky. :D She's a *little less organized than I am. *ahem. I focus more on grammar and matching colors while she focuses more on putting her heart in her pen and seeing the big picture. I can be more critical while she tends to focus on flawed humanity as a way to be Jesus to someone. Her natural inclination in life is to thrive while mine leans more towards surviving. She really ENJOYS life and many times I have to fight to get past the "stuff." She's a Mary in a Martha world, I have a lot to learn from her.

Actually MANY people have spent more than a day with Chel and lived to tell about it... she's DEFINITELY a people person! That means she's always spending days with random groups of people while her parents would rather her be cleaning her room. hehe.

Oh, yeah, we also have similar voices... Hehe... We've only used that on a few guys. Namely, my husband before he was my husband and I can think of at least two others. :D

Well, the kids like to ride on the roof, especially on the freeway, so, just about any medium-sized car will do! I prefer a stretched Volkswagon Beetle. Hehe!

SippinTea

Methinks you were way too hard on yourself in your observations there.

*listens closely to the fine print* ;)

I'd rather take pictures and be innocent, Dina.
I'll hold Chel's camera and take lots of pictures, okay?
Pranks make me nervous most of the time, no matter which end I'm on (weird coming from a clown, huh).

Don't worry, it's the kind of prank she'll like... that's the kind I normally do. :D But you're certainly welcome to take pictures!

RainbowJingles

Hmmm...  goes to check her PM just in case...

  :attackhug: Be full of hugs!

newkris

and is there another older sibling?

i, too, am the older sister - but i'm older by 24 mos - younger, however, then my brother by 13 mos.

however, being the older sister makes me the martha.  i can totally relate!

where is your favorite place to go with your sister?

A younger brother who is a LIVE WIRE!
Anywhere I go with my sister is great. She makes life exciting, even if you're in the hospital! That's why she's gonna make such a great nurse!
