It would be nice, Lady Nai,. but I know it won't be this year.

So do you consider it flattering if a gal literally hits you?

Nai

Newsman

In real, everyday normal life? No.

I have a formal co-worker that is a lady who just naturally slaps, strikes a form of greeting, surprise, emotion, etc. As she strikes with a fair amount of impact, talking to her for long can leave you in a bit of discomfort.

People like that drive me BONKERS!  Momma always told me not to hit in any way, shape or form - even my little brother - and even when he deserved it.  lol

Chinadoll

I'm teasing him after the oooh la la when I hit him with a virtual mace.

Nai

Disclaimer for those unfamiliar with the SCA: this is somehting only marginally violent, but Lady Nai will understand the question, and I bet, as she is a former Midrealmer, that I know what her answer will be:

Hit hard and take light, or hit hard and take hard?

John  :waving:

Chinadoll

Actually it's all hard here in Artemisia.

I just started rapier.

What time do you need to be picked up at the Indy airport?

I'm open to suggestions, as long as we have time for tea for two before the dinner!

You mustn't forget the honey butter for the scones, Dahling. And I don't know of a good tea house in Indy. When you find one, let me know.

John  :waving:

Alas! I have no recollection of wonderful memories with you. You must've made those memories with someone else.
