 The Psalters?

Madison Green?

I'm not sure who they may have been playing with at the time.

Ok...I don't know Madison Green, but it sounded confusable with Fern Gully.  :laughhard:

Actually, cymbals are mentioned but I don't recall drums being mentioned at all in the Bible regarding worship to God.

TRAV

Please don't puke and retire Robby. It's just not a good way to go. I have been listening to guys way better than me for years and they have never ceased to inspire me. Rarely do I ever try to play along to or directly copy any amazing drummer. Instead, I sit there and absorb the attitude, the fluidity and the essence of the style - like how it makes me feel. Then I take my inspirations and apply them to my own situation.

Remember, always be inspired rather than intimidated. Peace.

Here's to many many drumming years ahead!!! Can't wait to hear you in a few more years, Rob! Just don't take my gigs from me!  :thumbsup2:

Bro.Robby

i know i am joking, but I'm not intimidated. My problem is that im constricted to a 5 piece (1 bass, 3 toms and a snare) along with 2 crashes and a ride cymbal without a double bass pedal also. But i need to practice a lot more too.

I am inspired by these 2 drummers, their amazing and just makes me convicted of not really practicing.

TRAV

:thumbsup2:

Oh, man. You're only confined by your imagination and passion! I been playin' rock gigs with a 4-piece kit for years (2 crashes and a ride - snare, bass, one tom and a floor tom). You can rock out that way and still still see the crowd cheering for ya!

 :thumbsup2:

That is so cool they let Uncle Bobo and Uncle Hayseed out to jam with you guys
:waving:  send my love and tell uncle hayseed he's still my favorite!

(I can't believe ya'll found that song after so many years to finally give it a name and release it!!)

TRAV

Phil? Is your name really Frank Beard?
PROVERBS 3:5,6

Philip

Nope

I'm a little bit to young to have been playing in the 60s and 70s  LOL

BTW do you think that "Uncle Phil and the Holy Trinity" would be a good name for the group???

Classicrambler

Looks like the guy on the floor is playing a Breedlove!
