When Deb went for her tests on Thursday, they just kept her at the hospital because her fluid was low.  She'd actually been having some minor contractions since Wednesday evening I guess and didn't really realize it.  But anyways, they got good results back on her tests on the baby and started inducing her at 9:30 Friday morning.  It was 10 something Friday night when Bella was born.  As far as the hard labor was concerned, she only had to push hard 2 times.  She actually came out so fast that it bruised her head some.  lol

She's so teeny tiny, and so cute.  :D

She's 5 pounds 7 ounces I believe.  I don't know how long she is, i don't remember Deb having said and I didn't ask.

Yep.  She's just about enough to make me wish I could have my own.   :smirk2:

It's a little more complicated than that though and I still don't see that happening.


But, Bella is wonderful.  She's sweet.

He loves her.  Deb said when he first saw her he kinda acted like he didn't know quite what to think.  But he was putting his arm around her and kissing her on the cheek and stuff.

I didn't get to see them together yet cause he wasn't there when I was there.

So, he was right thinking that she would look like him.....but she's not black like he thought she might be.   :laughhard:

I thought I posted that story somewhere maybe.....


But anyways, yeah, he wondered if she might be black.  Because Deb had told him (when he asked after going through a black cashier's checkout at Wal-Mart) that God makes people all different colors.

So, he thought Bella might look like him and Deb, but be black.  lol
