Today is my Friday again wooooottt. Mom and Dad are coming down tomorrow thru Monday.
Hurricane Polo is finally sending some rain our way...ish... so far its above us not ON us. Sigh. We need the rain so bad.

What might've been is a hard thought to have. I hope you've found peace. I'll be praying for you today!



I asked for prayer for me and my husband a while back. I finally had 'the talk' with my husband. We will see what happens in the days to come. My therapist was proud of me for finally tackling the topic. We have a future to decide. I'm hoping and praying it can be one together!

Lordy I hate being a nag too. If you just took initiative then we wouldn't even have to ask! lol Like is it too much to ask for you to go to the dr because you sleep and don't actually get rest? or for the chronic cough you have?

Believe me... I'd rather not nag anyone about anything, haha. But sometimes we love someone enough to want them to take care of their own health and really really think it needs to be done ASAP. For instance, I still mention to my husband that he needs to have an upper GI scope done because his stomach surgery was like 8 years ago now. He still is having stomach issues and now they've compounded with a ton of medicines that are messing with his stomach. Until the VA agrees with me, I doubt he'll have it done unless something major happens and scares him.

In other news.. life's busy and crazy. lol.

As a single guy I don't have a wife to make me do those things. So I don't.

I have some theories about why wives nag husbands about stuff like that. I have zero interest in getting married and putting those theories to the test though.

Shew. Welp, made it through the procedure. Not something I wish to do again. Recovered enough to go to the church around 330 pm. Wound up being there for prayer meeting- it was dynamite, several showed up and God showed up too. Wound up being there until 11 ish- prayer meeting ended at 745 ish... then several stayed to do more work on the church.
Got everything moved into my office. I'm pleased. Also got flooring laid in the hallway upstairs. Little by little.

 Well, made it through the week.  So Sunday , we had an African American brother and his wife visit. Backslider from what I gather, lived in our area for a year or so and didn't know we existed until our fair parade when a church member gave out cards for our upcoming revival. I was in Tn, but reports were he it the altar as did his wife and were speaking in tongues and shouting as they were renewed. They came back Sunday night too, and it was phenomenal. SO Wednesday night, God had me on course to preach more than teach.. The new brother gets there, his wife unable to make it because of a prior commitment, I get to meet him, the service starts and the worship I've been teaching on and praying for took off again in our church. Lord, the spirit was treetop tall- and the new brother was down in the middle of it all. I stripped a gear or two preaching unlike normal.
Lord, it felt so good to feel the spirit like that.
 And in other unchurch related news- my wife made me get a colonoscopy. It's scheduled for tomorrow morning. So since last night, I've been scared to cough or breath hard, have drank a tanker truck of water, and still have more to go. I am NOT a fan.

Howdy y'all.

Nothing to report except our septic line is 55 years old and a guy is coming out today to do-do something about it.

Dad's still bored to tears. So am I, actually. Wish life had a fast forward button so we could get to the part where he has two artificial feet and I can go back to work.

Iphone's new flip phone costs $2000. That's for the base model. The Super Deluxe Pro model costs almost $4000. Meanwhile my HMD Vibe daily driver cost $89 and my Unihertz Tank (8x normal phone battery and a light on the back that will legit light up a whole field) cost $275. And they will still be doing what I got them to do long after the people who buy an iFlip have moved on to newer things.

All this to say I just don't understand some people.
