So the workaholic thing worked out for you in the end. That's neat.

Maybe you didn't want to spend money on a chair, but it was possible. It's no fun to be in pain from surgery, but now you're on the mend and things should be better soon, instead of just getting worse...

Sometimes I think how it would have been in the 1800s and I'm really thankful for now.
So true.
I am very thankful for the blessings. It is a huge blessing to be able to have the surgery and to have enough time saved that I won't miss a penny of pay too...

Shew. Sleep and lay around. I am thankful for the pain is much easier. difficult to type with one hand. Difficult to do ANYTHING with one hand.
Had Chey take me to town Tuesday... bought an entirely too expensive power lift chair since I cant lay down and was worried I would injury the shoulder trying to get out of the recliner I had. Much easer to rest although true rest is difficult. Im sleeping alot but its in one and two hour intervals.. :pound:

Dad is coming home Saturday. I guess I should wash the dishes...

Single guy life, y'know.  :smirk2:

Probably should throw out these 47 empty gallon water bottles too. They sure do pile up after a few months.

Quote from: Lynx on October 20, 2025, 11:03:54 AMWhat did the doctor say about your shoulder though? Complete success, it will heal up good as new?
I was told it was successful....took 3 and a half hours. Allegedly when I came out of anesthesia the first words I said were "Blessed be the name of the Lord" which made the doctor laugh.
Today .. be rough.
