Jeremy's revision back surgery went pretty well. He's nervous (no pun intended) about the nerves in his feet. He's got some numbness currently, but we are hoping that heals. Hopefully this is our laaaaaaaast one, haha.

I have almost 7 weeks of paid vacation lol i could do that every week. But i doubt they'd let me.

Girls trip was amazing. I love my Grams' sister Faye. She is just so hilarious. We had a really good time. Listening to all of their stories is cool. We went out Saturday to a restaurant in our "girls trip" tee shirts lol.

So glad it's almost Friday!

Oh hey, The Forum is back! It was down for a few days before my vacation began.

Amusing that Google speech to text capitalized the forum. But it didn't capitalize it just now? Odd...

I've been on vacation since last Tuesday afternoon. Today is the last day of my factory shutdown vacation. Tomorrow I'm going up to visit mom for a few days.

I have come to a realization and reached a conclusion. The current standard practice in the United States of taking a week off every year is nuts! Taking two days off, every month and a half or two months, would suit me much better. And this I shall begin doing, about 2 months from now.

48 years I've been alive and it only occurred to me now to try doing this. I really thought I was more perceptive than this...

Ouch.
I got up this morning, made steak omelets for the wife and daughter, put a pot roast in the crockpot, and spent most of the morning cleaning the yard and pretending my little tractor was a bulldozer/ backhoe digging up shrubs that have volunteered.
By the time I got around to the front and the gutter cleaning job I got about 3/4 of the way through it, and a rainstorm hit. So I went inside. Don't feel 100% so going to bed early.

Finally made it into work around 12:30 today. Jeremy had a followup at the spine doc this morning due to some sciatic pain going nuts. They did a few more xrays and felt the need for a CT. They think some of the hardware may have tried to back out some, so they may be scheduling him for surgery again. Really was hoping for that not to be on the table again, but he can't live the way he's been.

:hi:
It's sad that I am not on here enough anymore to even notice when we are down for a day...there just is not enough time in the day.

Couldn't get on a day or so there. I assume others have had issues as well.

It's June... somehow the year is flying by.

Well...
I'm a collector of things and ebay has been a trap for years- but I don't guess I've ever looked for or thought about collecting rocks... I've been told I have rocks in my head and to go pound sand a few times but never have I collected.
Have a bit of a cold trying to sneak in, when I just started vacation. Typical. :pound:  :pound:
