Bobby some days just don't end when they should.

In theory, today dad is going to move from the hospital to rehab. Over the last three weeks we have been getting projections about leaving and then they kept retracting it. This is the closest we have gotten to the day they projected dad will leave the hospital, without retracting it yet.

If they cancel it this time, with less than half a day before he is supposed to leave here, I am going to start throwing things.

 Life be lifin'
I'm running nonestop. But I actually had something good happen today. My local BBQ spot was celebrating two years in business by giving away a whole brisket- and for the first time in my life, I won something. I won the brisket. I'm happy.  :fork:  :fork:

Oh yeah... They DID cancel dad's export, but he actually went to rehab the next day, last Tuesday. Finalment!

So, Bobby... A whole smoked brisket? For free? My my, that's a lot of meat. Tsk tsk. You sure your little family can eat all that all by yourselves before it goes bad? What time is supper?

Well..... probably around 630 friday night. But if I pick it up at lunch.....there may not be much left. :fork:
Went to graduation for a friend's kid who, I think I mentioned, has some mental disabilities. Drove about 3 and a half hours round trip, maybe four, spent two hours there unable to understand the speaker because of my hearing combined with their sound system, and Lil Knuck-knuck ran across the stage, total time of around 45 seconds- but he knew "Uncle Bobby" was there and that's what was important.
Now I'm studying for tonight, a tad concerned and weighted, with an idea/thought that goes about 27 different directions. But God keeps whispering to open my mouth and He will fill it tonight- so we will try to follow Him.

The town my address is from had graduation last Friday but the small school I went to and worked at has theirs Saturday coming.

Nelle

Graduations are exhausting but when they are excited to know you're there and supporting them, it's worth it, haha.

Allergy followup for me tomorrow. I think I may need to take advantage of their shots where they desensitize you to the allergens. My eye BALLOONED over night and is super puffy. I'm hoping meds help today some. I had been enjoying looking/feeling almost like a normal person!

Jeremy has a followup with his back surgery office on Thursday. Hoping he checks out ok.

School is over here too.

At w*rk we are busier than midget mountain climbers. Nothing else to do in that town so they all come to us.

Dad has been gaining fluid around his lungs so they put him back on the dose of lasix that he had at the hospital, which will wear out his kidneys, but what ya gonna do?

I came home from my job and started moving buckets of his rocks from the outbuilding to the barn. So I am now wore out too. He has literal tons of rocks, divided by type into 5 gallon buckets. I have no idea what any of these rocks are called, but some of them are kind of pretty. Some of them just look like rocks. But I know they looked good to him when he saw them on eBay and bought them.

Anybody know anybody who knows somebody who wants a whole lot of rocks?

Well...
I'm a collector of things and ebay has been a trap for years- but I don't guess I've ever looked for or thought about collecting rocks... I've been told I have rocks in my head and to go pound sand a few times but never have I collected.
Have a bit of a cold trying to sneak in, when I just started vacation. Typical. :pound:  :pound:
