Hi. Went to Conway with Lou and Chey. Bought boneless wings from WingStop. Delicious but entirely too spicey. Began feeling some pain, so I was glad to get home to the recliner..

We prefer Buffalo Wild Wings, flavors are better, but Wingstop ranch is TOP TIER. :laughhard:

Welpppp brother and his family are officially Arkansans!! haha They moved yesterday. EEK can't believe it. Mom and Dad went went them, Mom's watching all 3 kids while they unload the house. Then Mom and Dad have a list of houses to look at tomorrow before they head back to Indiana. Mom thinks they'll be moved before Christmas.

My grams house finally got an offer, so Mom and Dad have been helping them take care of paperwork etc. My gramps is a grumpy old f ar t.

In other news, I'm grumpy it's Monday again. Hubbs and I literally couch potato'd all weekend.lol  :spam:

Up north in Indiana. They followed Mom about 8 months or so after my parents moved there.
They're currently putting an offer back in Pampa Texas (where my moms other 2 sisters live). But that's it's own issues. My gramps wants to stay in IN, my grams wants to go where Mom goes. But my Aunt-1 doesn't want them back in Pampa because of Aunt-2 and her husband who try to get too involved and cause a ruckus....sooo who knows.

It's spelled Arkansas but it's not pronounced Ar-can-sass. It's pronounced Ar-can-saw.

So now I'm trying to figure out how to pronounce "Arkansans." Ar-can-sawns?

Broke down and got another eye appointment today, finally with my original doctor. I HOPE he can do something because I feel like I'm about to go crazy. Cannot WAIT to get this under control AND see the dermatologist in January & allergist in March to see about getting ALL of it under control. These skin issues are for the birds.

I go back this month for another lab test on my blood sugar. Really hoping I've managed to control it better (diet & meds) so that it's at least stabilized and not increased more. Ideally I'd love it to have gone down.

Only like two more months and I get to hold my little nephew again. I warned my parents that they need to hold him all they can while I'm not there because when I get there, he's mine. LOL.

Nelle

I know you were all on pins and needles hoping I would update. LOL.

Went to the eye doc yesterday. Got in trouble for causing a myriad of issues BUT.. I've taken benadryl yesterday and today as well as a few doses of the steroid/antibiotic eye drop and the swelling of my eyelids has already chilled out a lot. Still a ways to go. I can't take benadryl forever though, so I've got an appointment next Tuesday morning to talk to my doctor about a steroid shot. Hopefully that can help this eye issue finish its problem as well as the skin issues on my mouth and ears.

Roscoe

Isaac, as strange as it may be, it is pronounced "Ar-Kansan"
And Nelle I hope they figure it out. I've been dealing with rosacea I guess... red blotches like an allergic reaction with no rhyme or reason. Just randomly appears....maybe psoriasis. Either way it is frequent enough to annoy me but not bad enough to go to another doctor for right now. How on earth did I make it to 49 years old with zero issues, and now my body's instrument panel has EVERY light lit up like a christmas tree?? :pound:
Tomorrow is therapy again. Joy joy....pain will be my portion tomorrow.:sadbounce:

But when some yankee news reporter pronounces it "Ar-kan-sass" y'all bridle...

But y'all don't care a bit about "Ar-kan-sans"?

Oh well. Ain't my business nohow.

So glad it's Friday.

I suffer from rosacea too Bobby. It comes and goes. I recently figured out that the steroid packet a DR often gives aggravates it terribly. It's the worsttttt when your cheek feels like it's on fire. And this is a recent issue like in the last 2 years... getting old is wack lol.

But my phone claims it will get warmer soon. Christmas ain't here just quite yet.

It's dramatic shifts like this that make the asphalt buckle.

Its super windy today with a high of 77.

These early dark days are awful, I hate the sun setting so fast.

Maybe we should do a thread per year. Like "Sharing 2026" since it seems like that's about all we need anymore.

I'm with you, Jenn on the early darkness stuff.

Lynx

I just go to the end of the current thread. I don't think it matters if we run this thread up to 5,000 pages. Who will stop us?

I've been craving white chocolate covered pretzels. So, yesterday I bought some pretzels and the bark to make some. I got home and realized that I had bought garlic and onion flavored pretzels.  :smirk: They are tasty but not with white chocolate. So, today I went back to the store and got some plain pretzels. Now, I'll just need to ration them and not overindulge. ;)

Lynx

Well now you have a salty and a sweet, for when you are craving either. Leave them both by the couch.

That's kind of the point of choc covered pretzels. You get the sweet and salty in one item. ;)

Lynx

Hence salted caramel... And having a salt shaker on hand when you eat watermelon. I never did get into those either.

My father even puts salt on blueberries.  ???

Never have liked my chocolate contaminated by salt. :pound:
Hope everyone is doing well. Been a couple of difficult days here but I am surviving. I've discovered I am not nearly as pain tolerant as I thought I was.
