Home from church and it's till daylight!!! Thank ya Jesus! I might actually see the sun every now and then throughout the weekdays.

I think I made a lady mad at me during service. Every single service during every song she comes and drags me away from my seat and up the aisle to the front going on and on and on about how God told her to come get me and make me go up front to shout. Every. Single. Service. Every. Single. Song. Today she came over, pushed Brandon out of the way to grab me, and I told her no. That I would meet her up front if God told me to go up there. [Mind you the sign group was up front at this time doing a song and there wasn't anywhere to go unless you pushed one of their members out of the way.] Yes, I know sometimes people need someone to help/nudge them along. And when I 1st went there yes, but don't push a man who isn't sure about church and church people out of the way. Under normal circumstances I don't think that's a good witness to anyone. Luckily I had told Brandon about this woman or he could have gotten majorly offended.

Now to finish up weekend laundry and cook some bbq baked chicken.

That is horrible of that lady doing that each service... woah.  I am glad you said something! :) Hope Brandon doesn't get scared away.

Mel,
I am always sick too.  I hope you get better soon! :)

MY,
What podcast is that?  I'd love to learn Spanish and I listen to Podcasts at work :)

Some people make things happen, some watch while things happen, and some wonder \"What happened?\"

Which type of person are you?

Melody

Roxie, it's called Discover Spanish and they have it for other languages too. My friend who is now fluent, started with this and recommended it.

Funny that Roscoe got rid of his Cadillac today because my dad went out and bought one!! He bought a 94 land yacht that only has 39,000 on it for 4700. He's so excited. I told him he's officially an old man now.

Work wasn't too bad. I only wanted to slap a handful of people and none of them actually my coworkers. [All but one of them but I want to slap her all the time.]

New doctor tomorrow unless he calls in sick again.
A part of me died a little as I drove away from my Cadillac. My grandfather drove almost exclusively Cadillacs for a long time- the old 21 foot long ones. I really enjoyed our Cadillac ownership, but it was time to call it quits after 4 years. If I found a "land yacht" like your dad did, I'd buy it too.. Being old ain't all that bad if it means you can drive a comfortable vehicle. :P  I currently covet a late 90's early 2000 Lincoln Towncar or a 1994-96 Impala SS....both are huge boats that ride like a cloud.

Honestly it's a much better fit for my dad. He was driving a 2 door 1999 Saturn Coupe that I had trouble getting in and out of. I'm only 5'8". He's 6'5"!!! We used to tease him about having to open the sunroof to fit in the Saturn. Now he has something he can be comfortable in. Plus from what I understand for a 94 that Cadi is loaded with a giant engine in it

I dont like bigger cars. I like to have control. I feel like if a car is too big, I don't have control.

I'm a bigger girl, but I actually like the car to be a just barely squeeze in. Lol I'm weird.

I like our big truck though, but it's not TOO big. It fits.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

I'm sorry you're feeling so crummy, Mel. :( Praying you feel better soon.

Melodya, that's pretty cool that your daughter is having those kinds of dreams as young as she is. It'll be really neat to watch and see how God uses her and that sensitivity to Him in the years to come.

My feet hurt. Badly. Was hoping to avoid the whole feet swelling thing that so often goes with pregnancy. But alas! I am apparently doomed. Oh well. At least I only have about 6 weeks left. We're really looking forward to meeting this little person. :)

Who does he drive for? Is he local or OTR? My dad drove for most of my life. Hauled gas and chemicals mostly...then he went OTR and hauled anything and everything. Once had a government escort and was not allowed to even touch the trailer at all. He didn't know what was inside. He said it was kinda creepy.

I'm headed for another shot of NyQuil and bed. Goodnight!

Going to the Dr today. Please say a prayer for me.
Last time we went they could not find the baby on the ultrasound, this time I do an ultrasound and blood work. I'm scared.
Mom thinks I lost the baby while spotting, Brent is scared its tubular, and I know the baby is there. We had three positive results, I know I'm not crazy.

He drives out of Kingsport TN for a company called Superior. I know they have multiple terminals throughout the US.

Been up since 445 when Brandon's extremely rude sister called the house phone repeatedly. No idea what she was calling for. He wouldn't tell me. Oh and now he's smoking again. Between being jarred awake by the phone then the cloud of cigarette smoke that followed him back to bed I couldn't get back to sleep. I'm just getting really frustrated out here. I'm 20 minutes from anything out here. I feel trapped. Like I'm stuck here. I don't like it. I don't know what I'm gonna do. Plus Brandon has started hiding things. For instance like his smoking. And I caught him lying about going to see his mom the other day. I don't care if he sees his mom, but why lie to me about it? It's just making me very uncomfortable.....

Pretty car, Roscoe!  Reminds me of Hannah's Barbie car, even down to the shade.

Today, Hannah is 11. She's excited to remind me that she is now a preteen.  Lord, help me.

Roscoe I hear you on those cadillacs.  My grandmother had one up until about a year ago when a woman rear-ended her and took the back left wheel off and bent the frame.  It was like a tank.  You could be pretty confident that if you did hit another car, the other car would have to move - it would not stop you.

Personally I like something with a tighter suspension though.  I like to have more agility around corners.

I do too....that's why I have a 'vette.  :biglaugh: But in all fairness, Lou's Cadillas was a CTS- stands for "Cadillac Touring Sedan". They were built to be somewhat agile while retaining most of the floating ride...Like any compromise, it wasn't perfect, but all in all it was a good ride and handled well. If it'd been a "V" model with a six speed manual transmission and a v8, I'd have remortgaged the house AND kid to fix it. :P
