We now have a gate to fix, because of Isaac's driving in Sharing 4-7-6.

:pound: :pound: And SOME of us legitimately go there due to employment. :hypocrite:
Regardless, YOU know what I mean. You have a strong dislike for it, and to dislike it, you must know it.  :hypocrite:

1st - You might GO there due to employment, but why do you stick around for the singing? :hypocrite:
2nd -  :biglaugh: Okay, you got me there. I've been trying to come up with a snappy response, but... alas! I cannot. :biglaugh:

:beret:

:pound: The singing started while I was there. Woulda been rude to barge out.  :hypocrite: Besides, there's something strangely appealing to seeing 250 drunks singing good gospel music.  :P Besides, 1) They mighta needed a preacher and 2) Jesus hung out with sinners. Shouldn't I try to be like him?  :hypocrite:

Been a long day.  And I am tired.

Haha!

Mel, every time I see that smiley it still makes me think of the someday-I-wish-we-could trip to Italy. ;)

When are you not making hard decisions for your life?  :smirk2:

When are you not going to church and coming back home?  "w2cch"

Sorry, couldn't pass that one up.

Me too. ;)

Someday we will...and if not here, then we can just add it to the list of things to do there...along with the banister sliding and slippy socks. ;) right?
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

RIGHT! :D I told Chris about our nonsense recently (can't remember if I told you about that conversation) and he seemed amused at the thought of us pulling antics like that in heaven. But don't worry - I'll get him converted yet. :bigcheese:

Speaking of which!!...
:eek!:

... the other night my dear Scroogy himself had a dream about snow and Christmas, and WAS SAD WHEN HE WOKE UP and found it wasn't still Christmas, and said we NEEDED TO PUT THE TREE BACK UP.
:eek!:

I almost asked him who in the world he was, and what had he done with my Scroogy Husband.  :biglaugh:

I'm pretty sure the men in my household have blinders on to dirt. Am I the only one who sees it? Am I just becoming OCD? AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! Somedays honestly I'm mad/sad I moved here. If I had a loved one living like this I would feel horrible for them. I'm completely embarassed by how it is out here. How do people become this way? There is no way for me to keep this house clean by myself. I can't do it and work 40+ hours a week. I need them to get off their lazy hind ends and help me keep their own house clean.

Sorry. Needed to vent.

Got to sleep a bit late today. Went to the gym. Now I'm cleaning. Since no one else does. Well take that back. They rotate who does the dishes. But I do everything else.  :smirk2:

Oh by the way Roscoe, ye starter of threads - the gate is fixed.  Cost $75 for a new one.  That's the most a dozen eggs has ever cost me...

I think they were shocked that I didn't hit-and-run.  They kept mentioning how nice it was that I told them I clobbered their gate and paid for it.  A shame really.  Back when I was a kid if you didn't take care of your mistakes there was something wrong with you.  These days it's remarkable if you DO clean up after yourself.

Good. Now I have a title for the new thread- "The farm is back to being heaven- Isaac fixed the gate in 4-7-7."  :P

And yeah, it's a shame no one takes responsibility anymore.
In sharing, I have found a radio I want. Bad. And it's about half price. And I have the money. BUT- I lose my moral standing with Lou on my harping about spending, AND will have to spend equal the cost of the radio for her Sharkie mop/vaccum/sweeper thingie. 'Twould be an expensive purchase all things considered. Still thinking about doing it. :laughhard:

Technically I just paid for a new one.  They put it up.  :P  Go for it though, it's about time for a new thread.

I discovered that I missed a bunch of turnips when I tried to pick what I thought was the last of them after the first round of snow we had....

These things will live through hades and high water.

Holy moley. I was watching the end of the Baltimore/Denver game and jumping up and down in my church clothes. Now onto the Green Bay game and eating some lasagna. Church in the am followed by Eileen's funeral.

My family is here for supper, which was good.  Then they all plopped down in the living room to watch the TV, which is bad.  They don't talk when they're watching The Box.

I am now in the market for an assassin.  I need someone to burst in, blast the TV away and vanish in the night.  Any takers?

Storming here tonight, very bad. We've gotten close to four inches or better of rain today, and it's still coming down strong and steady. The yard is flooded, and the septic system won't function. Ham radio weather net is reporting hail in various places throughout the state and winds up to 60 mph to the west and south of us a bit. Tornado warnings throughout the state too. Think I'm gonna go sack out while I can.
