Morning. Passed my test yesterday. Woo! $100!

Gonna take another within the next week or so that'll get me $250. Then probably at least 1 or 2 more that'll give me at least $100 apiece.

:sing: I'm in the moneyyyyyyy. I'm in the moneyyyyyyyy.

*scratches head at kkay* How do you make money taking a test. That sounds odd.
My hubby's nickname is shep and that would make me ladyshep. :)

At my job we have the opportunity to take tests for additional certifications and designations that actually help us with our job. We get paid to get the certifications because it makes us more profitable.

Where is your job at. I'm at the wrong job. LOL

:)

It's all about growing here. I'll have probably 5 designations to put at the end of my name by March of next year. Wish I would have known about this earlier...but it's never too late to make some moolah.

If I told you, I'd have to kill you :hypocrite:

Oh, wait...I get $500 if I refer an employee and they're hired and stay for 6 months.

Gotta rethink that.

Well I've been with my job for 11 years and 3 months...so I do have the history of longevity.

Feel like moving? ;)

Ok.  This is interesting and I suppose just the times that we live in.

This whole IHOP cult thing.  It really is crazy.  However, because it's charasmatic, there are things that mimick or are actually the Holy Ghost.  Because there are many sincere people there with limited understanding.  Many leave when they do get wise to what's going on or even just because it at some point starts feeling like it's not right.

I want to be informed and not some ignorant fool attacking the movement because there are so many here and I have even met some.  Some visit our church.  I've even had some of those over for dinner, you know how ya do, trying to show love as the body.  I'm not sure that any have ever stuck around.  Certainly not the ones that I've met.

So anyways, I'm watching some clips of what the international pastor says and looking on their websites.  They own a number of companies here in town under various names.   When I come across this clip:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=eBpw2oQrvMM&NR=1

which includes the tag "Apostolic" & "Pentecostal"

and I think to myself: good grief, much of that you can see in our churches every week.  How much more we have to have wisdom and and an authenticity so as to not be mistaken for charismatic emotionalism.  I know in myself that our doctrine is solid, have strong scriptural basis AND balance yet leaving room for God to really move supernaturally.  That's where it's going to matter, where the rubber meets the road.  When people see us, is our life an emotional roller coaster?  Are we truly living victoriously in all areas of our lives?  Financially, physically, emotionally, relationships?  It's a tough question cause we are all still human and striving to grow so at any time someone could point out our flaws to discredit other areas.

It just moves me today.  That I have to have my house in order.  Not just pray through, not just be familiar with scriptures but be authentic and actually growing, actually overcoming things and going forward.  Idk, on one hand it makes me miss a little bit of small time life again but then on the other, God put me here to grow and do something.  Every city has it's strongholds and battles, more people= more dramatic I suppose?

Welllll, it kinda is. Some departments aren't allowed to say what city we're located in.

I'll say this - we just got a few awards for being the best TPA in the U.S. and we've purchased a lot of other TPAs recently.
