Thanks everyone for the nice comments earlier. We survived the day and we just got home! Surgery went well, and I'm fitting to clean the kitchen.

Tomorrow we don't have a thing to do (till 3pm) so we are gonna SLEEP IN! Yay!


And the toilet still flushes and keeps amazing me!


God is good to me. Despite my situations, God never ceases to be GOOD.

Had a pretty small crowd show up at church tonight to hear from Bro and Sis Morar. They are missionaries in India whom we've supported for 10+ years. They'll be back tomorrow night as well. I love just listening to them speak. I love accents.

One of the girls from church caught me after service and informed me I'm her new best friend. She said she realized some of the ways some of the younger people act especially toward me and she doesn't like it. It's just nice to know I'm not alone.

Also my mom actually was talking to me about church before I left. Asking actual questions and such. I was kinda in shock and amazement.

Please pray tomorrow at work is better than the past 2 days. My 'dealing with stupid coemployees' meter is about to pass the breaking point.

Fell two times this morning because of my ankle. Finally gave in and went to the ER. I damaged all the ligaments in the foot and when I did that the ligaments pulled so tight at my ankle they broke a small piece of the ankle bone off. As the doctor said, "no matter how small a broke bone still hurts". Looks like i will be off work at least the next three days and in a gel cast for about 2 or 3 weeks. Pray work has insurance to cover this and I don't lose my job. Frustrated!!

Well. I was able to sleep till 8:30. That was a miricle! Now dad has to go back to dialysis today cause the machines were messed up yesterday, so here we go again.

Had a pilot come in and we were talking about the loss of equilibrium after doing aerobatics in planes.  He pipes up and says "It will sho nuff mess up yo cornbread."  I nearly lost it.

Got dad to the barber and got a haircut. Then dropped him at dialysis. I have the rugs in the washer from the bathroom, fixing to do a load of towels, and after that, strip my bed and wash those sheets too. The dishwasher is running, kitchen is clean and supper is simmering. Gonna have that pot roast I made Sunday, I have it simmering and cooking down now, gonna thicken it up with some gravy and serve it over mashed taters with some sweet peas. Yummy. There were only a view of the veggies left, and I'm eating them now while I wait on the washing.

Fridge is cleaned out too. I got to pick up dad at 2:30, pick up Amanda at 3, and then come home.

Even though I didn't really want to do anything today AT ALL...it's turned out to be a good day so far.

Don't I wish!  That's how many songs in my collection right now.  It doesn't sound very impressive in these days of downloading whole libraries of music online, but it's all from CDs, cassettes and old records. 

And that doesn't count all the christmas, comedy and classical tracks. 

I'm actually a bit ticked.  I plowed through all the new music I picked up on amazon.com and passed the 5,000 mark without even noticing it.  I was going to celebrate or something.

Kimber made the most decadent chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted!!! I got to about half of the first one and almost could not finish it! It was SO RICH!

I have two more. And I'm NOT sharing. But I can't eat them tonight. Too much. Lol
