Speaking of cleaning up, it's time for me to get off this swivel chair and do that.  The dishes from last night won't clean themselves, more's the pity. 

By the way, about that... I am living alone here and I don't usually bother to empty the draining rack.  I just use the dishes I need from the draining rack.  If they aren't there, then I look in the cabinets.  If the draining rack gets too full I might put some bigger stuff away, but most of these dishes and utensils I'm just going to get dirty again anyway, so why bother putting them up?

Does this make me lazy or efficient?

Well there is much of practicality in efficiency, and there is much that is efficient in what is practical.

Of course... laziness could be the primary motivation to be efficient.  The more efficient, the less I have to work.

Burned trash with the dog, then was just outside enjoying the pretty day and the fowl.  Was crouched down taking a picture of a lounging chicken and a turkey came up beside my and bit my eye....got my lid more than my eyeball, thankfully.  Hurt like the devil.

Miracle of all miracles, my MOTHER is going to cook dinner tonight. SHE VOLENTEERED to cook it.


I will believe it when I see it. She hasn't even started it yet. I would have by now, but ... *shrug*.

Well it's not me that's for sure!! I'm sitting at home!! Not to mention I had just edited a picture and put MEL as my background on my phone and here she is riding off into the sunset with ANOTHER friend!!
