Off to toil and struggle.

What?  Did they start putting the donuts in a more difficult-to-open box?

They now come with child proof locks...

He'll have the shoot the lock off.

In other news, my feelings about the day:  :reaction:

Nelle

So my awful meltdown was...awful. BUT! my weekend was salvaged. I'm so glad Jeremy was there to calm me down, plus we got to spend some invaluable time with my parents. Dad made his first pitifully sad but humorous comment about me moving.

Church was great! We received some fabulous news about our cake. A man in our church is the one making it, and he's giving it to us as a wedding present, which is awesome! We're going to get him a gift tho. So unexpected!! My last major outflows cash-wise are flowers and his wedding band, and them pictures AFTER the wedding. :) God has really started stepping in and sweeping up my problems, haha. I'm very excited and thankful. We registered this weekend and we have another store to do. Exciting!

Mornin' y'all.

Gonna see if I can hash out this "His Plan" song, maybe get some chords down.

Nelle, glad to hear it.  If anyone deserves a happy ending, you do.

In the meantime, Roscoe and I will be over here pelting Se.th with frozen donut holes if anyone needs us.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

I cannot count how many times the devil will use prospective or past romance to get a new convert all discombobulated.  Always with the best of intentioned feelings.

Off to clean the church. Mantle conf this wknd & some Gateway kids staying at our house!  Hannah is hoping it's girls.  All that requires u to be cool to Hannah is to be between the ages of 14-20. Lol

Meller... you need to start a thread about all the stuff you can use as substitutes for stuff in cooking.

I think we already have one.  What substitutes are you thinking about?

sunlight

all the little things like the egg one, and a few other you refer to that I have never heard of.

Okay...A few things :) Today was my first day back at "the farm" I think I'm going to start calling it TFF for The FUNNY Farm! First day back..and I already have more responsibilities that I thought I wanted...:) Put on my happy face and be thankful I have a job. AND it seems some of the riff and the raff quit while I was on medical :) Thank you Jesus!

About the ExBF. I still care about him..I care about his soul. I don't "love" him, nor am I in love with him. We didn't talk for a long time, he went through rehab and had a great girlfriend and seemed happy. Things kinda fell apart with the girlfriend and that sent him back off the wagon. He had been sober for 2 years when I first met him and I have seen him go months with out drinking, when we first started church he was completely staying clean. I'm proceeding with caution and praying praying praying. I'm still happily single and waiting for a man that God sends, not this one that I am trying to pry from the devil...

Oh and you can substitute applesauce for oil in some recipes.
I'm just me, round and bubbly like a lil honey bee!

First of all....  :pound: :pound: :pound: Mini and Seth for the snide comments about my toil and struggle. Not only did they childproof the donut boxes, they put 'em on a high shelf that I can't reach. :-(  It's every bit of five feet tall!  :laughhard:

And next of all- I got through the day anyway. Had a bit of an issue with my human side after hearing more news of my friend who's having mental issues.  Apparently he had a complete meltdown  this morning and is currently enroute to a facility that may can help him. It feels terrible to watch something like this happen to a close friend and know there's nothing you can do to stop it. I'm not used to not being in control........ All I can do is leave it in God's hands, which is where it belongs anyway.

And nextly- ISG, I'll be praying for you. I admit worrying a bit myself for you when I read the post about you going to visit him..... None of my business, but seeing how much you've posted about where God brought you from is an awesome testimony, and in my line of work, I've had occasion to see more than one person fall after going back to old associates.

Oh, and Isaac- Thanks for the p.m. I can't reply right now because of this ding blasted steam powered antique. It'll let me post but not p.m. On another board, it'll let me p.m. but not post. I think it's just proving to me that it is smarter than I am. :laughhard:

Well that doesn't take much.  :smirk2:

*cough*

Lord....everywhere I look, something needs my attention....it's dirty, it's rotting down, it's falling apart, it's broken, it's rusty, it's dry rotted, it's dying, it's starving, it's wounded, it's sick, it's.....you name it.

Every. Stinking. Thing.

IowaSkirtGirl

SethE it sounds like you are talking about my soul before I was saved....

Wow. A bunch of chatter boxes today. :)

Chel, I posted in the food substitutions thread that already existed.

It's annoying that I have to login every time I pop in here. My info is saved, it just doesn't keep me signed in since the address change.

Chseeads

Do you go directly to mission238 when you access the site?  I still go to godplace and it keeps me logged in....dunno if there's any diff in that or not....
