One of my ringneck doves got out while I had the cage open (these are the ones that live outside).....so he's up in the trees now hollering... :smirk2:  I hope he comes back down to the cages to his mate and/or looking for food....  Bah.  Stink.

Welll....since I never proposed to a Lou Ann I don't have to answer. :ugly:

But when I proposed to Lawanda (aka Lou) I was very strategic and romantic. I took her to Petit Jean Mountain one evening and- if you look in the Mini meets rosco thread, you'll see the place in his panoramic shot- I had her sit on a boulder looking over the valley. I was obviously standing next to the boulder, so when I proposed, she had a built in platform. :laughhard:

Sadly, I started off our life together putting her up on a pedestal, and she still thinks she belongs there! :laughhard:

And I had a gun along. The chipmunks didn't have a chance. Besides- the only ring she got was the keyring to my truck. For me- the ultimate symbol of love. :laughhard:

Likewise. We usually wind up working holidays, but at some point I'm sure we'll have a meet up semi-local to us. I'd love to host one here locally on Petit Jean Mountain if we could ever get it worked out........

Hehehe, it's so fun to joke with good people.  I wish I could meet all the GP regulars really.  And my kids want to see Seth's bird farm.

I'm excited about Mantle Conf. coming up.  This year we are hosting some Gateway students during it. They always come sing. I need to figure out what to feed 4 college kids that night.
