Gotta be at the hosp at 615 am. Today was rough. Tomorrow I have the stuff done at the hosp.
I'm just me, round and bubbly like a lil honey bee!

Chseeads

Lord, give Bird Head good results from her tests.  Amen.

Lands.  The more I do, the more there is to be done.....

Here at home, I have a stack of lumber waiting to be turned into a breeding pen addition....

I need to get a spot plowed this fall for a garden next spring....maybe make better progress on it than this past pitiful year....

Several buildings and cages need various repair and maintenance.

I need to turn the woodshed into a brooder house for next season so I don't have to use the garage.....

Garage needs cleaned out.

House needs cleaned.

Garden area needs fenced in.

13 acres need refenced.

I need to clean out the henhouse and give all the birds an Eprinex treatment.

And that's just a few things....there's countless others....big and small.

At church, I'm powerwashing....preparing to repaint the foundation walls.

Outhouses need repainted as well.

A spot of shingles needs fixed on the roof....the people that did our last repairs are all booked up till who knows when, I may need to find somebody else, or try to climb up there myself...our roof is steep.... :o

Want to put up new railings on the steps and ramp.

New carpet on the steps and ramp.

Need to put in a cistern in lieu of the well since it seems to have issues a lot anymore.

Want to have a tree cut down.

Want to do some landscaping stuff around the building.

Want to get a new load of gravel for the driveway and do some landscaping involved with that.

Want to pour a concrete slab in back by the ramp.

And then there's a thousand other things, big and small as well.

Well (sniff) it's official - I am sick with a head cold.

I'm just (sniff) glad it didn't happen over the weekend.  I'd hate to (sniff) have had a cold putting a damper on such a great weekend.  And yesterday, when I should have gone for piano lesson, I canceled because I had been busy and hadn't practiced, so going wouldn't have done any good - good thing, because I was (sniff) certainly contagious Monday and probably the last half of Sunday as well, and I would hate to (sniff) have given my teacher this.

From experience, the more sleep I get now, the better it will be by work time tomorrow.  G'night.

If y'all remember and get a chance, please remember me in prayer.

There is truly something wrong in a man's life when he needs to take off, and realizes he needs to hold on for a little over five more days to do so.

I'm at McDs with dad. We are not selling the house here today...just eating breakfast.

Headed to WM to grocery shop.

Then tomorrow I have to make a pumpkin cake and a ham for the youth Fampout this weekend.

:headrub: John.
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

I suppose that was directed at me.  :smirk2:

Yes.

What of it?  :P

Lynx

Are they still in use?  And does anyone ever tip them over?

They are still usable....they're used more as sheds now though.  Handy if you can't use the indoor ones though.  No, I think they're too attached to tip over.

If you can't use the indoor ones?  Let me guess... if the visiting minister's sermon is terrible he is banned from using the indoor toilet?

The Ladies' outhouse.

Thats what our church is missing....outhouses.
There's something wrong with having an outhouse that has electric lights. I love the flood light..... :thumbsup2:

I don't think I've ever seen an outhouse look quite that fancy...

MsJennJenn

It looks like the outhouse/fish house thingie in "Grumpy Old Men"....haha

"If you can't use the indoor ones" - e.g. the well is dry.

There's a flood light on the corner of the mens, which is over at the other corner of the church to the left from the ladies....lights the back yard/parking at night.  :P  And there is a light inside each one.  No heater.  Sure would've been nice....I remember those cold winter nights before indoor plumbing.  :shudder:  But in the summer, man they're like an oven. lol

Rat's Nest...thank you for the compliment. lol  The ladies' is a two-seater, by the way.  :teeth:

I'm surprised nobody commented on the geese. LOL  :P

Lynx

Geese will perch anywhere.  That's nothing worth commenting about.

They also look like a jet when they come in for a landing, and they leave droppings all over the parking lot at our campground.   :-\
