I got called back to work...to do some cleaning and paperwork and errands. So I guess God wanted to make sure I got in enough hours today! Back to the parlor tomorrow. So I have to be in bed by 8pm, so I'm refusing to nap today and going to drink some more water.

I took a nap.  I highly recommend them.  Of course I also have to be up and working until midnight, and I'm getting over a cold, so I'm probably a bit pro-nap biased.

Got one phone call that was an answer to prayer. Now, waiting on someone to call me and tell me they got their phone call which will be another answer to prayer. God is good!! Praying the other call comes in quickly!!!!!

Yeah...I'm still doing daycare...only now it's "as needed". I have kids on holidays and such..or if the parents need a few hours in the afternoon.

I don't feel very good.  I think I'll live.  I've lived through similar before, so here's to hoping for the best this time around too.


I think this dumb rooster taker that was #2 in line is not going to call/come either.  Buncha dipwads. 

I'll have to text the next in line shortly I suppose.

After a few days of rain, this afternoon is beautiful. There is this sweet cool breeze & it's teasing of fall.

Sounds like the honeymoon is over already Seth & Mel! Lol

I got my first little pepper off my plant today & thought of you Mel! Not sure what I can do with 1 little pepper though. lol

Andrew gets to praise sing at the youth conference tonight! He's all nervous & excited, first time. :)

People are so stupid.  Trying to give this rooster away and people are dumber than monkeys and don't follow through with anything.

AND, I think I may have another Ebay hoax dummy on a sale that ended yesterday....they still haven't paid...no feedback rating.....  Not sure yet....

 Glory hallalujah! The demon possessed John Deere is back working properly. And it only took $75 and a week. Mahvelous. Simply mahvelous. I've got my yard somewhat reclaimed from the jungle. I'm tarred though.
Was going to go to Clinton, about 30 miles away, and hear a friend of mine preach, but didn't have time. By the time I got home with the parts for the mower, there was no time to get ready and go. :cry: Oh well, he's preaching for us tomorrow, so I'll hear him then.

Oh, and tomorrow is chey's first day of school. I am SO dreading it. And do to a scheduling snafu, I must work Saturday. I parlayed the good will from my agreement to do so into an extra day off, so I'll be off tomorrow, thursday and friday this week. Not a bad trade off, since I had nothing major planned for this week anyhow.

Hope everyone feels better.
