A tourist went to Arkansas last week (he has been identified as a tourist because he was the only one in the state with a full set of teeth) and asks a man in uniform (Roscoe), "Are you a policeman?"

Roscoe replied, "No, I am an undercover detective."

"So why are you in uniform?"

Roscoe thought about it for just a split second and replied, "Today is my day off."
