I don't know how they got my email but lately I have been getting a ton of spam from a place called "Christian Mingle". Well, they have a slogan that says "Sometimes, we wait for God to make the next move, when God is saying, "It's your time to act."". Well I got an email today in my gmail and ended up opening it when I was trying to delete it. Under their above slogan and their main slogan of "Find God's match for you" read the following:

Do you have a date this weekend?

Well could it be "ye have not, because ye ask not."? James 4:2

I have no idea why but that just made me BOL!!!! :laughhard: :laughhard:

So if you are sitting at home alone this weekend is this the reason? lol

Religion is worthless until it is able to move outside the walls.

My latest blog post.

Well taco,  that one made me laugh.  I am a member of christian mingle (mostly out of curiosity)....But I have been greatly amused by them, they seem to love to match me with those who love to drink till highly intoxicated or old women (over the age of 40....though most of who they match me with are usually about age 60).
Only through faith in the Grace of God through Jesus Christ am I saved. No other means and no other actions changes the predestination of my soul.

UPDATE:  I finally did find my wife.  Just waiting now to bring her to the USA!

*Ohh drat... just remembered that Ryan and David were 'sposed to be security... hmmm... need to revamp this plan...*   :hypocrite:

Nope...  :pound:  In fact... the night started out well enough, but by the end of it... because of some issue in the moh's relationship... which she had explained to Molly, which Molly relayed to me... which is one thing I was worried about when picking the moh's bf as the best man (simply because the 3 guys I asked declined...), which piled on top of my own family drama's with people not coming, and then deciding they could, me being happy and having high hopes of some family actually showing up, and then them backing out, etc...

By the end of it... I was ready to just can a wedding day, and elope, and then move us to Guatemala away from all drama... ! LOL.. needless to say, it wasn't our best night. She was at me cause I was disturbed by everything going on... but I made nice with the moh after the issue escalated. Just hoping there really is no issue that day.

I want for this day to go well, so I am ordering Drama-detector ejection rocket packs... after the drama reaches a certain level... the parties involved are jettisoned to the Tisroc's palace, and tortured by Tash!

I hate Drama... and it is worse when it is gonna be magnified on my wedding day, Aug 7th cant get here soon enough...

RainbowJingles

Methinks that those Drama-detector ejection rocket packs would best be used on the bride and groom.  Detect drama?  Time to get out of there.  Simple.

Possibly, but I have 3 people actually coming up here that I am excited about! LOL... and my bride to be has insisted on having breakfast with them on Sunday morning... I think she is a little crazy... but thankful she is showing interest in my friends... lol

RainbowJingles

a LITTLE crazy?  Sorry.  Breakfast with someone besides the groom and bride on day one of the honeymoon?  Nope.  NOT gonna happen.

Well... If you go to a normal place to eat, unless it is Chang Puppy Lovers Buffet, lol, there is going to be people! (and perhaps a few grizzlies)

I just figure if I gotta share the restaurant air and noise with people, I'd rather it be a few good friends who went tO extreme lengths to get there... When not even the grooms mom showed up... Don't know, that's just me, and she came up with the idea. Lol, no hinting even went into it... I just think she realizes that her friends are gonna be everywhere in this wedding and they
Live nearby... Mine live in different states.

Not saying it is right for every couple... But for us, it might be...

moh typically stands for Maid of Honor... :) I don't know if that helps..but I'm board..and lurking :)
I'm just me, round and bubbly like a lil honey bee!

YooperYankDude

Yup! :-)

MOH = Maid of honor
MIL/FIL/BIL = Mother / Father / Brother in Law
Outlaws = Inlaws who are being bothersome and interfering in things they shouldn't...

I'll think of more later on...

SippinTea

Sorry about the drama, Mr T. :smirk2: I am fully sympathetic.

Re: breakfast with friends on day one of honeymoon... uhhh... you're INSANE. But then, I already knew that. :P And just for the record, I'm going to be mad at you if I find out you actually do try to pull that one off. *glares ferociously* Take it from a gal who just went through all the stupid wedding drama... you WON'T feel like meeting up with friends. I was so thankful all the wedding drama was over, you have no idea. (And remember, WE had friends who made tremendous efforts to be at our wedding, too. So much so that I was completely overwhelmed - in a good way. It's an amazing thing to be loved.) :)
