OK, instead of trying to edit, re-edit, and re-re-edit my original post, I thought I would put it all in one place.

Man, whatta Friday-Sunday.

Friday, I had a Dr. Appt scheduled, so I went up early to poke around.  Went on a book hunt at Goodwill, and got a couple westerens, (Rev. Louie L'Amour) and a preaching book.  I also found a Newsboys tape for $.50.  I was happy.

I went to a Dr appt, (not good news.  I need God to touch my ears.  They ring constantly and Dr. said no cure.)

Rushed back to Sears to look at new dishwasher, our old one decided to bite the dust.

Rush to house to get ready to drive 2 hours south to for a children's crusade.

I took this picture before the rest of the crowd got there.  Our Section goes all the way from the OK/TX border and OK/AR border to Muskogee, OK.  HUGE section.  Some churches drove 3 hours to be at the rally.  But what a awesome outpouring of God on the children.  At least 5 got the Holy Ghost in that service.  Left about 10:30 and made it home by 12:30.  Then up at 6:45 to go to work.

At work, I unknowingly set myself up for a blessing Sunday.

Sunday morning, service, then back to work to help out a pilot that had come in late Saturday.

Come to find out, he and his wife attend church in another part of the state!  I helped him and in return he was a huge inspiration and blessing to me.

Then last night for church...wooboy!

Pastor opened the service and handed it to me.  I should have warned him.  When we were having prayer meeting, I had a huge burden hit for the service.  Sometimes that means God wants to take us to a point to be ministered too, sometimes it means God wants take over, other times I just seem to totally miss it...lol.  Last night, God was spot on!

We started singing, and God was moving.  But it seemed we were at a point where God wanted to take us a step further in faith.  I tried to give a little inspiriton, seemed to butcher it, but God honored it.  Sang another song, people were worshiping, and the suddenly the music stopped.

Let me insert something here.  My brother in law rarely stops playing.  Hes great at filler music, and is very knowledgeable about how to keep a service moving.  Our musicians need the opportunity to NOT play.  Just to worship like the rest of us.  And I know it had been a trying week for him and my sister.  But suddenly, right in the middle of service, our music stops.

I looked around and the musicans were 1) gone, 2) praying, or 3) worshiping.

At that moment, I had a feeling that service was taking a turn...lol

My dad runs the sound booth on Sundays.  He had a terrible week.  He was given bad news about his back, has been in terrible pain.  I look, and he was out of the sound booth, across the church and praying for a young man.  No, Dad didn't feel any better, he was just letting God use him.

Chelleebelle (my wife) was off the platform, headed twoard the organist, when God led her back to pray for a young lady in the youth group.  And Brothers and Sisters, let me tell you, she prayed for that Gal...woo....

I was bouncing around like a golf ball teed off in a tile bathroom.  (Theres one for you Ray Stevens fans).  I told you guys about the lesson I taught Wednesday.  (The Danger of Minimum Requirements)  I was giving it my all...

And this was only like 25 minutes into service.

After a while, things started to slow down, Pastor started leading us in a song.   He then asked anyone who needed prayer to come to the front.  Instead of praying for them, he hands me the oil and says go get em...

2nd time I felt like the golf ball in the service.

We pray for a while, and I look to the back of the church, and see my wife and daughter praying.  Pretty soon, everyone but my brother in law, (who was back to trying to play a little music) was back there praying with my daughter.  And she got the HOLY GHOST!

Lands sakes alive, she nearly wore out the ladys holding her.  God started moving on her, and she would start shaking, bouncing, going up and down, and nearly started cutting a rug.

You should have seen the look on her face when she got it.  Man, she had a smile that would have lit the sky.  By this time, she was down on the floor, and she looked up and saw her momma right in front of her.  I snapped this picture:

Later on, she posed for me with the pastor:

Thats the smile of a brand new HG filled baby!

So yeah, its been a great weekend.

WOW!! I LOVE this thread! I'm so glad you posted all that, Mini. I was so excited last night when I saw your post on FB about Brionna getting the Holy Ghost, but getting to read the whole story... WOW! Love it!

Reminds me a bit of a service we had three Sundays ago. :D We didn't have anybody get the Holy Ghost that I know of, but at some point during the worship service, I look down from where I was at the piano, and realize people are WAY out of their comfort zones. People from this side of the church going to pray for people on that side of the church, people from the platform headed out to pray with people in the congregation, and it looked like something had exploded in our little church. :biglaugh: Love services like that!

Please give Brionna a big hug from me and tell her I am SO very happy for her!! :D

that is so great!!! It makes me remember when and how I got it..
Hebrews 12:12-16 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you

Huge tears in my eyes! I loved this. I'll be glad when my kids get the Holy Ghost. They really need it.
When you say "Jesus" you've said everything.

Brionna was so excited (as were her mom and dad)!  God is good!
