No news is absolutely unequal to good news. Just sayin'..

Lynx

Especially if it's that old comedy track, "No news, or what killed the dog."  The first time it's mildly amusing.  The 1,028th time it gets a bit old...  Just saying.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Well this forum is just so alive tonight I can't bear to tear myself away from it... but alas, I must go to bed.  Night y'all, wherever y'all are tonight that keeps you from posting here.

Got the background guitar pattern laid down, which is basically the whole body of the song.  Now I just have to flesh it out with little one-note piano bits and some light drums on the choruses.  Should have it done well before the Sunday week that I said I'd try for.

Morning all. Yes, even Jenn- I've decided to let her snide comments pass.  :laughhard: Back at work, then tonight, a little get together for the few youth in my church. Don't really know what kind of activities to plan, but we're trying to at least get a little fellowship together for them. I'm thinking a big pot of spagehtti, and a few games (Phase 10, skipbo, Uno, ect) will at least give them something to do out of the house and around the church. We'll see how it goes. I wish we had a larger youth group- having just 4 or 5 really limits what you can do.

If this goes well, maybe we can get with some of the other youth groups, even though most are an hour away, and have some fellowship. Ya'll pray for me, I'll probably need it.

Dr Appt today.  Hope she can cure the ringing in my ears.

After that, I may go poke around at some stores.  We shall see...

Has anyone looked at Mini's avatar wording and wondered of he is listing 'married' among his problems?

Just a question from your friendly newsman  :hypocrite:

Try pit.  Very fun game for a group.  Very noisy, but very fun.

Wear earplugs.  I'm not even kidding, it gets very loud, very fast.

got two pairs of Rockports for $36 (that's for both of them, not a piece.)  My work shoes were literally falling apart and my dress shoes were faded at the toes, so everything moves one rung down the ladder:  new shoes are dress shoes, dress shoes become work shoes and old work shoes get chunked in the trash.
I got 3 brand new pairs of Rockports the other day at the Goodwill for 3 bucks each! I was so happy, they are the most comfortable dress shoe! I wear them to to work
Hebrews 12:12-16 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you

Lynx

Me too, but I never have gotten them that cheap... maybe I oughta go down to Jackson and look around the Goodwill there.

Gone to w*rk, ciao for now.

I'm tarred.  Being a bum.  Somebody needs to come and build my chicken breeding pen for me.  Please, and thanks.

Gotta leave about 4 to go over to North Vernon to a shindig art show thingy where Deb's photography is on display.

Tomorrow afternoon is Tom's birthday party deal at the ice rink and his house afterwards.

I just don't want to get out and associate with people anymore.  lol

MelodyB

Well praise the Lord, Saints!!

I'm headed out in a bit!! I'm excited! I haven't been out in a week! And although I just got to do some bank stuff and go to WM, I'm excited to be doing that! Yay!

I'm still congested, and now my right ear is kinda clogged and muffled a bit, but I feel better. Gonna be a great day!
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Chseeads

Look at her go.  She's off and running like a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter.

MelodyB

Yeah, we shall see how good I feel after I come back. I expect I'll be exhausted and ready to crash.

My latest blog post.

Yay! Melody has been resurrected!

Planning to crochet like a mad woman and (hopefully) get this special order all finished up today. We shall see. I may be overly optimistic about how fast I can crochet. *lol*

Sir John - that was great! *lol* But somehow I don't think of Michel as one of Mini's problems. More like the one thing holding him all together with some pretense of sanity. ;)
