FINALLY!  I got this computer set up just the way I wanted and the image DVDs are burnt.  Now to have some fun!  :D

I don't know whether to install a nice, sane Linux first or to start on this new soundtrack "He's Alive" first.  But since Easter is about 1.5 months away I guess I'll start on the soundtrack.

Okay so I now have an arena of sorts made of folding tables with three laptops, a big end-table with a bunch of computer peripherals and an 88 key keyboard against the wall on the other end, with my rolling desk chair in the middle.  The peripherals table holds an impressive mountain of stuff - three external hard drives, two external DVD burners, at least three flash drives (that I know of), three media players that double as flash drives, assorted CDs and cassette tapes, an Altec Lansing portable speaker, earbuds, two 4-port USB hubs...

Too much?  Naaaaah, I could really use another laptop, and some more flash drives would really be handy.  :P

Maybe I should start trying to find a home for some of this stuff.  Anyone need a laptop that has a bad backlight?  Still works if you connect it to a monitor and use it as a desktop.

Well in my defense I do use all this stuff...  If you don't have a file in at least three separate hard drives, it doesn't really exist.
