Because it was in the original Star trek series?

John  :waving:

Nope. Not that.

Wait... it was? I didn't know that. Never seen those. :)

*happy sigh* I love trillium. And I haven't been up on the mountain to see them growing wild in far too long. Ya know... trillium is really amazing for more than just its beauty. If you don't know why, you really should look it up. :)

:beret:

I know why... I fact, I am putting together a thought for a new thread involving trillium, roses, and something else... lol.  Hopefully have it finished in a few days...

Hmmmmm... accidently poor an iced mocha grande in his lap? That should cool him off. :-)

It is a lot of fun.

Just tell him what you told us...

"really? i work in a coffee shop 40 hrs a week!!! sheesh!!"

And then say, "it's Ruth's Chris, the Melting Pot, or nothing, baby!  And don't forget the required 3 dozen roses, box of chocolates, and miscellaneous fine jewelry, or you'll never have a chance at a second date."

That should let him down easily enough.  *nod*

It's definitely Spring over here.

trillium, the sources I find point to one main quote....
"In a 1918 publication, Joseph E. Meyer called it "Beth Root" (probably a corruption of "birthroot") and claimed that an astringent tonic derived from the root was useful in controlling bleeding and diarrhea"   Meyer, Joseph E. The Herbalist and Herb Doctor. Hammond, IN: Indiana Herb Gardens, 1918, p. 50. ???     ??? ???

surely you didn't mean that.....
Only through faith in the Grace of God through Jesus Christ am I saved. No other means and no other actions changes the predestination of my soul.

UPDATE:  I finally did find my wife.  Just waiting now to bring her to the USA!
