Ummm... rulers are 12". A yard stick is 36".
There is no statute of limitations on murder or bad first impressions.

I am enjoying my second childhood.
It is a lot of fun.

so sharing a nice sherbert shake with a young lady, does that break the rule of staying the distance of a ruler apart?  you know they may be 12 inches long, but usually only about 1/2 to 1 inch wide, so just turn the ruler on it's side and you are still the technical distance of a ruler apart! :freaky2:

That reminds me of years ago at youth camp...
I was rather painfully shy, and youth camp was... well, hard sometimes. So I'd be cowering beside my brother or cousin, and a few times one of the counselors would try to make an issue of it (even if I WAS related to the guys :roll:). When they'd piously remind me that the camp rule was a Bible-width between genders, I'd occasionally get brave enough (or was the cheeky enough??) to tell them "My Bible is a thinline." Probably not the smartest answer, but...  :smirk2: It generally made them be quiet. They didn't seem to know what to say to that one.

I have the perfect definition for shy. One of my girlfriends was so shy that even if the pastor asked everyone who had the Holy Ghost to stand up she would turn beet red and duck her head behind the pew.
