When we get to heaven, the bad parts will all end.  :-)  In the meantime, the good and bad are all mixed up.  It's like eating watermelon.  Enjoy the flavor but spit out the seeds and don't eat too close to the rind and don't let it get your clothes all dirty!  :-)  Overall it's a good experience, but there's a lot that could get in the way of the fun.

Peace was asleep in the bottom of the boat.

You should follow their advice if you want to.  Just don't come crying to me if your dreams don't come true because you didn't follow them.  **HUGS**

Goofy girl!  You're not supposed to sleep in the bottom of the boat.  You're supposed to wake up Peace and get the storm calmed!
Of course, sometimes storms DO make the best sleeping weather.  IF you know Who is in control, that is.  :-)
Sleep on, my dear, if you so desire.  Just don't forget to wake up for the watermelon!  :-)

What did you do interesting this summer?

This summer??  Hmm...  Wow.  Did I miss the summer altogether?  lol  I had to REALLY think about that one!

Went to California's Great America with my two favorite men (and their mommy).

Went to the circus for my birthday.

Visited Virginia for Dad's birthday (and got to see my brother).

No.  The man in the moon has more sense than to fall for someone so far out of his orbit.
The man in the moon *really* smiles because he sees a girl on the earth falling head over heels with a man on the earth, and he is contented to watch.  He is content to be alone.  He enjoys his own company, and smiles peacefully.

Elona, are you sure the moon is not just a stalker of the earth, think about it, it moves in the dark times, it's whole purpose is to travel around the earth, always watching it, observing the earth from all sides, either a stalker, or a security guard.
