I have never insulted an alligator, expecially the one I met in the Everglades. She was eyeing the bottle of pop on the seat next to me.

When the kids were small and we went crabbing in the bayou in La, we saw lots of alligators.  I was so afraid one of the kids were going to fall off the pier and I was gonna have to go in after them since I was the only one who could swim.  :o

And when Chel was crabbing off of the pier a baby alligator glided under the water and POPPED up right under her.... we got out of there because we knew the mama was close!
