The Joys? Of Getting Older

Howdy!

   Here I am, minding everyone else's business (my job, you know) and I realizeth I am tired..that tired and really really wanting to go back home and go to sleep tired.

   It seems like I 'used to could'...but, I'm not as young as I used to be...I slept a lot Saturday, maybe four hours this morning, I should be good til tomorrow!

   Gotta go..nursing home service.

Newbie needs a lesson.. he said tomorrow makes a year hes worked here, and so his rookie status ends.. and he's a veteran of one year, now.. I choked.. he then came back in a minute, said he started to late in his career to make it 40 years, like I had....

Hmmm....

That's the way I feel. When I look in the mirror, I'm shocked. I don't feel any different than when I was 21 the first time.

Over what hill? Where? When? I don't remember any hill.

One good thing about Alzheimers is you get to meet new people everyday.

Brain cells come and brain cells go, but fat cells live forever.

Ever stop to think and forget to start again?

It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere.

It is bad to suppress laughter; it goes back down to your hips.

Forget health food. I need all the preservatives I can get.

Adults are just kids who owe money.

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky, and I thought to myself, "Where is the ceiling."

I intend to live forever--so far so good.

I only remember important things, whatever they were.

Don't hate yourself in the morning--sleep till noon.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.
