Brother Dad

I am excited and looking forward to what comes out of the Pie Ministry
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

If you could get another pet, would you and what would you get

MelodyB

I was just telling Bro Dad this one the phone last night....

I LOVE dogs. I mean BIG dogs. Like labs and shepards and stuff, but like I was telling him, I cant have a dog, my lifestyle would not permit me to have one, it would not be fair to the dog. If I wanted to travel, I would have to find someone to watch it, I wouldnt be able to go out and stay gone all day and all night or all weekend like I can with my cat. Eboni takes care of herself. If I needed to leave for a week I could, as long as she has plenty of water and food and fresh litter. A dog...No, I couldnt leave it.

So I would love to have a dog, but unless I settle down A LOT, I will be owning cats for the rest of my life...but I am a one cat woman, I have had two at once, and I like having just the one at a time. And I wont get rid of Eboni for anything, she will have to expire before I get rid of her. She is my baby. Then I will most likely get another one when she passes, but not untill.

"Going somewhere means leaving somewhere. Choosing something means choosing against other things. Gaining something means losing something else. And between the old and new--the 'was' and the 'not yet'--there exists only one thing: a very frightening journey called faith."

My conscience is captive to the Word of God.Thus I cannot and will not recant, for going against my conscience is neither safe nor salutary. I can do no other, here i stand, God help me. Amen      -Martin Luther
